ST. AGNES Ladies GUILD

ST. AGNES Ladies GUILD PURPOSE: The spiritual as well as the social welfare of it's members and of the members of the parish of St. Agnes, and surrounding communities.

Our goal is also showing Christian Love, Fellowship and Building Community in our area. Membership is open to all Catholic women as well as to the non-Catholic wives of Catholic men. Our Purpose is serving God, our Catholic Church and our Community. Some of the things we do: Sponsor a child through Unbound, provide the Altar Bread and Altar Servers Cassocks, Bible Study Group, say the Rosary at W

akes when requested, serve and clean up at Reception after Funerals when requested, Advent Lenten Devotions/Soup Suppers, Right to Life Programs, Repair/Upkeep Church/Altar Supplies, serve Knights of Columbus Breakfasts, hold Public Suppers, Thanksgiving Pie Sales, Food Pantry Donations, Food Basket Donations, a Giving Tree, Our Ladies Kitchen Donation, take turns providing free Dinners at a Local Church, and more. Member of the Maine Diocesan Council of Catholic Women and the NCCW.

ST. AGNES LADIES, it is time for our irst Fall meeting. We will see you all at the church hall on Wed. Sept 4 at 6:30PM. We need you all there to start of the year on the right foot. We are planning a Welcome Supper for Fr. Anthony for Sun. Oct. 27 and dues are also due in Sept. $5.00. Plus we will need to plan who washes the altar clothes, who bring food for our snacks,, and don't forget we all need the social aspect of meeting with other Catholic women. Invite any other Catholi woman you know and also non-catholic wives of Catholic Men.

DID YOU KNOW...Fr. Robb is going yo pray the Way of the Cross with us at St. Agnes this Good Friday at 3PM??? If you can possibly find time, please join us. We are so fortunate to have a Priest that will pray with us on Godd Fri. at 3PM. See you at St. Agnes at 3PM tomorrow, Good Friday. And Happy Easter to you all.
