There is still room for "Resting in God's Mercy," a young adult retreat with St. Jude Young Adults and the Capuchin Friars (with The Port). Brother John Paul Kuzma, OFM Cap. will be leading this semi-Ignatian retreat—"Resting in God’s Mercy." There will be plenty of time for prayer, reflection and community at the beautifully rustic Capuchin retreat house, Alverno, located 1hr 45min outside of Pittsburgh. The cost is $65, though if cost is an issue, please message us!

Fr. John Paul Kuzma, O.F.M. Cap. originally from Erie, PA, has been a Capuchin friar since 2009. After completing his M.Div. at Catholic University and his ordination, he served for six years in parish work. He currently serves at Borromeo Seminary in Cleveland, OH on the Formation Staff for the Capuchin Formation Program and for the wider seminary community.

St. Jude is hosting a Synodal Session specifically for young adults April 5th, starting at 6:30pm in the Bishop Winter Room.  Please come participate in this momentous movement in the Church!  We will be telling our grandchildren that we participated when they have to learn about it. Our “bonfires” happen year-round, rain or shine… although sometimes we move to the pub up the road. This Wednesday’s looking pretty warm though! Come to 7PM Mass at St. Raphael’s in Morningside and meet us in the back of the church afterwards!!
