An unanswered comment.

Walking away from an argument.

Not correcting every person who misunderstands you.

Not having the last word.

We sometimes ask God for peace while continuing conversations that keep disturbing it.

Silence isn’t always weakness.

Sometimes silence says, “My peace is more valuable than proving my point.”

We pay attention to what we feed our bodies, but what are we feeding our minds?

Hours of negativity.

Gossip.

Arguments.

Comparison.

Fear-filled news.

Social media.

Other people’s opinions.

Then we wonder why our spirit feels cluttered.

Everything you consume leaves something behind.

You cannot control every thought that enters your mind, but you can become more intentional about what you allow to live there.
