YCP Pittsburgh is excited to announce our fourth Executive Panel Discussion, with a very timely topic!

Executive Panel Discussion: Magnifica Humanitas: Faith at Work in the Age of AI

📅 Tuesday, October 20 2026
⛪️ 6:30pm Mass at St. Padre Pio in Lawrenceville (234 37th St, Pittsburgh, PA 15201)
📍 7:00pm-9:00pm Main Event at Hyacinth Epp Hall (next door - 224 37th St, Pittsburgh, PA 15201)

As AI takes the world by storm and ethical questions hotly debated, what is an appropriate Catholic response? How should we make use of it in the workplace and in our personal lives? Join us to find out!

Our panelists will hold a discussion about Pope Leo’s recent encyclical on Artificial Intelligence (AI), and what it means for Catholics in the workplace today. After a lively conversation, we’ll open it up to Q&A with the audience. As usual, there will be plenty of opportunities to network with fellow attendees and explore these topics further!

Schedule:
6:30PM - Mass @ St. Padre Pio Church (pre-event)
7:00PM - Networking @ Hyacinth Hall (next door)
7:30PM - Welcome & Chaplain’s Prayer
7:35PM - Panelist Opening Remarks
7:45PM - Discussion Begins, followed by Q&A with Attendees
9:00PM - Final Announcements & Event End
*Please arrive by around 7:00 pm!

Drinks will be provided (w**e and b**r), as well as light bites!

This event is free for YCP Belong members and $25 for non-members (information on becoming a YCP member is included below). Come join us for another awesome night of faith-based networking, personal development, and fun!

“Then he said to them, “Go forth into the whole world and proclaim the gospel to all creation.”(Mark 16:15)

Most often when we hear the words “go forth and share the gospel” we think of far off missions, but God calls each of us in the now. Our work days are little daily opportunities to share Christ with the world, just by our witness to his mercy and love! What does your mission ground look like?

We are thrilled to announce our new YCP Pittsburgh President, Natalie Ruzzini!

Natalie has been with YCP Pittsburgh since before we even launched, playing an integral role in bringing YCP to Pittsburgh and helping lay the foundation for what our chapter has become today. As Vice President, she has worked diligently behind the scenes and has been a key part of both the successful launch of YCP Pittsburgh and the continued success and growth of our chapter since its beginning.

As a Customer Success Manager at SAP and in her roles with YCP, Natalie brings incredible leadership, dedication, and heart to everything she does. We are so excited to see her step into the role of President and lead YCP Pittsburgh into this next chapter!

At the same time, we want to give a heartfelt thank you to Michael Shemer, who has been our fearless leader and an incredible President over the past year. We are sad to see him step down, but so excited to watch where God leads him next!

Michael is stepping into a new chapter as he launches PADUA, a new financial service to help Catholics hit their financial goals through a custom budgeting service, coaching, and accountability! (www.savewithpadua.com) If you or someone you know could benefit from his services, we encourage you to check out his new venture and support him in this exciting endeavor!

Please join us in congratulating Natalie and thanking Michael for all they have done for YCP Pittsburgh. We are incredibly grateful for their leadership, sacrifice, and dedication to this community, and we cannot wait to see what God has in store for both of them.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Meet the Mentors Networking Happy Hour last night! We’re incredibly excited about this mentorship program and the opportunities it will create.

As you grow professionally, it’s often about more than just what you know, it’s also about who you know. Our mentors come from a wide range of industries and bring not only years of professional experience, but also the wisdom, guidance, and connections they’ve gained throughout their careers.

We want you to be part of this program! If you’re looking for a mentor who can offer advice, encouragement, and insight within your field, reach out to Bobby at [email protected] and we’ll work to match you with someone who’s a great fit.

And if you know a Catholic adult who you admire for both their faith and professionalism who you think would be a great mentor, email Bobby! We’re always looking to grow our network of mentors and connect more young professionals with people who can help them thrive.

Let’s build a stronger community, one connection at a time.
