Between 1951 and 1968, six new Jewish congregations emerged in the growing communities south, east, and north of the city. In recent years, these congregations have begun donating their records to the Rauh Jewish Archives, offering a vivid and varied look at the rich, often overlooked vibrancy of Jewish life just beyond Pittsburgh.
