Inna lillahi wa Inna ilayhi rāji'ūn - from Allah we come and to Him is our return. We just got word that our brother Rafiq - the father of Yarudeen - passed away a few hours ago. May Allah make it easy on his family and increase them in Imān 🤲🏿

As salaamu alaykum family. Many of you know our brother Yarudeen and his mother Maryam Razzaq (may Allah continue to preserve them). But some of us - like myself - don't know his father.

Yarudeen's father Rafique has been in the hospital for some time now and it's not looking good.

I'm asking all of you to keep Yarudeen and his family in your prayers du'a. And if there is any way you can make his situation easier for him, don't hold back!

May Allah keep Yarudeen on His Straight Path; If and when He decides to take the soul of Rafique, may it be in a state that He is pleased with; and put their family under His Divine protection! 🤲🏿

What an honor it is to maintain the masjid.

Narrated Abu Hurayrah:

A black man or a black woman used to sweep the mosque and he or she died. The Prophet (ﷺ) asked about her (or him). He was told that she (or he) had died. He said, "Why did you not inform me? Show me his grave (or her grave)." So he went to her (his) grave and offered her (his) funeral prayer."
