On Sunday, May 24th, we will celebrate Pentecost Sunday – the Feast of the Descent of the Holy Spirit. This major feast is also known as Green Sunday. Why? Green is the color of spring and summer, the color of life, and life is an attribute of the Holy Spirit, “the Lord and giver of Life” who animates us all.

In commemoration of Pentecost if you wish, please wear green to celebrate this day!

We prepare to celebrate Pentecost Sunday – the Feast of the Descent of the Holy Spirit. As a community of faithful we celebrate how the Holy Spirit that Christ had promised, came upon his disciples on the day of Pentecost and how the disciples received “the power from on high.” This moment has traditionally been called the birthday of the Church. As part of this celebration we will have Festal Anointing-Mirovanije at the end of the Divine Liturgy. See less

Join us this summer for the 2026 Eparchial Youth Days as middle and high school students from across our Eparchy gather for prayer, fellowship, recreation, and spiritual renewal.

This year’s theme - “Barefoot Saints: Emptying Ourselves So Christ May Fill Us” - invites our young people to grow in humility, holiness, and a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.
