Today was more than a brunch, it was a reminder of the strength, wisdom, and impact of godly men.

We laughed, shared stories, enjoyed great food, and took time to honor the fathers, grandfathers, mentors, and father figures who continue to lead by example. In a world that often overlooks the importance of strong men, today we celebrated the value they bring to their families, churches, and communities.

Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing men out there. We see you. We appreciate you. Keep leading, loving, and leaving a legacy.

Good evening, everyone! Welcome to our Hour of Power.

Join us tonight for Bible Study as we continue our June series, “The Mirror Doesn’t Lie.”

Tonight we’ll be exploring James 1:9-27 and asking a powerful question:

What do you see when God’s Word holds up a mirror to your life?

Sometimes we spend so much time looking at everyone else that we miss what God is trying to show us about ourselves. Tonight, we’ll talk about temptation, trials, obedience, spiritual maturity, and what it means to be a doer of the Word and not just a hearer.

Come ready to reflect, grow, and allow God to reveal what needs strengthening in your life.

Bring your Bible, a notebook, and an open heart.

Everybody says, “I believe the Word of God,” but the moment the Bible challenges our opinions, we start searching for books, theories, trends, and voices that agree with what we already want to believe.

In this powerful message, Bishop Lee C. Carter reminds us that God never intended for His Word to be one option among many. The Bible is not a supporting document, it is the foundation. Too many people are looking for confirmation everywhere except Scripture.

If we truly believe God’s Word is final authority, then it must shape our thinking, direct our decisions, and correct our lives; even when it’s uncomfortable.

Stop searching for a theory to validate what God already settled in His Word.

Welcome to tonight’s Hour of Power Bible Study!

In Week 1 of The Mirror Doesn’t Lie, we’re diving into James 1:1-8 and discovering a powerful truth:

The test reveals the truth.

Pressure doesn’t create what’s inside us—it reveals it. Tonight we’ll explore how God uses trials to expose areas that need healing, strengthen our faith, and mature us spiritually.

Grab your Bible, invite a friend, and join the conversation. This isn’t your typical Bible study!
