The theme of our last day of VBS was, “There are many ways to say I love you.” We met Miss Udderly the cow, who shows love by giving milk, cheese, and ice cream. Yum! We discussed how both Jesus and Mister Rogers showed love through humble acts of service. Today kids heard the story of Jesus’ washing of the disciples’ feet, and they participated in a foot-washing prayer station. We packed care bags for our neighbors at Casa San Jose. At the closing liturgy, we showed our families the neighborhoods that we built over the course of the week. What a fun-filled week! We hope to see everyone again next year!

Day 4 of VBS! Today we explored, “What do you do with the mad that you feel?” We reflected on healthy ways to respond to anger, practice forgiveness, and discover how God calls us to seek peace.
