What are you planting? Pastor Christopher Thorpe brought a powerful word from Galatians 6:7-9 this Sunday, reminding us that sowing and reaping is not just a parable -- it is a law. The life you are living today is connected to the seeds you planted yesterday, and the life you live tomorrow is being shaped by what you are planting right now.

A habit is a seed you keep planting. Small, repeated choices -- prayer, worship, reading the Word -- do not earn God's love, but they align your life with who He created you to be. You become through repetition.

Do not grow weary. Paul's promise stands firm: in due season, you shall reap if you faint not. Change your habits, change your life.

WHAT AN AMAZING BACK-TO-SCHOOL SUNDAY AT NSI!

Today’s Back-to-School Service was truly a blessing from beginning to end! Our children sang beautifully, Minister Bryant brought a powerful and encouraging Word, and our Church Mothers prayed over every student, teacher returning to school.

There was something special about seeing our church family surround our young people in prayer, asking God to protect them, guide them, give them wisdom, and cover them throughout this entire school year.** 🙏🏾

We believe our children are going back to school covered, encouraged, prepared, and reminded that God is with them every step of the way!**

Thank you to everyone who served, participated, prayed, brought your children, and helped make today such a wonderful celebration. NSI loves our children, and we are committed to praying for and supporting the next generation! 💜

🙌🏽 **WHAT A WONDERFUL DAY AT NSI!** 🙌🏽

Today, we celebrated our **2026 Deacon Installation Service**, and what a blessed time we had in the Lord!

We are grateful for these men who have answered the call to **serve God, serve His Church, and serve His people.** Becoming a Deacon is more than receiving a title—it is a commitment to servant leadership, faithfulness, humility, and ministry.

To our newly installed Deacons, **we celebrate you, we pray for you, and we stand with you** as you begin this new chapter of service at Northside Institutional Church.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this such a special and memorable occasion. **God continues to bless NSI with people who have a heart to serve!**

Our prayers are with the **NSI Foreign Missions Ministry** as they are currently serving and ministering in **Guatemala**! 🇬🇹🙏🏽

For more than a year, Northside Institutional Church has been blessed to support a village in Guatemala by helping provide much-needed resources, including **solar electricity and other essential assistance**. Now, members of our Foreign Missions Ministry are there in person, continuing that work and sharing the love of Christ through service.

This is what it means to take ministry **beyond the walls of the church**—meeting needs, building relationships, and being the hands and feet of Jesus wherever God sends us.

We pray that God continues to watch over our mission team, protect them, strengthen them, and use them mightily as they serve. May their work bring hope, encouragement, and lasting impact to the families and community they are serving.

**NSI is committed to serving locally and globally—because the mission of the Church has no walls.**

God is not waiting for you to clean yourself up before you come to Him. He is already searching for you -- relentlessly, patiently, until He finds you.

In Luke 15, Jesus tells three stories: a lost sheep, a lost coin, and a lost son. Three different ways of becoming lost, but one powerful truth -- the lost matter to God. The shepherd searches until. The woman sweeps until. The father watches until. That word "until" reveals everything about the nature of God's love for you.

Your past, your failures, your mistakes -- none of it has changed your value to Him. A dirty coin is still worth finding. And when the father saw his son returning, he did not wait for him to get cleaned up. He ran.

God is saying the same to you today: come as you are. He has a robe, a ring, and a celebration waiting.
