Pittsburgh Diller Teen Fellows Program

The Diller Teen Fellows Program is an exceptional leadership opportunity that unites teens from over a dozen cities in North America and Israel. The Program creates opportunities for Jewish 10th and 11th graders of diverse backgrounds to cultivate leadership skills, explore Israel-Diaspora relations and develop and implement community service projects. merican Seminar, when Israeli Fellows from Karmiel/Misgav are hosted by their local peers, and the Israel Summer Seminar, when we are hosted by the Israelis.

20 Pittsburgh and 20 Israeli Fellows will engage, separately and cooperatively, with four themes:

Jewish Identity: exploring our commitment to Jewish values, tradition, memory, faith, culture, connection with Israel and a sense of shared destiny
Tikkun Olam: encouraging participants to act according to a sense of communal responsibility in Pittsburgh, Israel and globally
Leadership: developing the skills and knowledge necessary to effectively impact and inspire others
Community: instilling a deep connection between Pittsburgh Jewish teenagers, our counterparts in Israel and other Jewish communities around the world
