Yesterday, on the Solemnity of Corpus Christi, we took our faith beyond the walls of the church and into the streets.

Following the noon Mass at St. Paul Cathedral, we joined together in procession, accompanying Our Lord through Oakland in a beautiful public witness to the Real Presence of Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist. This ancient tradition reminds us that the Eucharist is not meant to remain hidden. Christ goes out into the world, and we are called to go with Him.

As we walked in prayer, song, and adoration, we proclaimed a simple but powerful truth: Christ is present among us, and His presence transforms lives.

Thank you to everyone who participated, prayed, organized, sang, served, and witnessed to our faith so beautifully. May the graces of this day continue to strengthen us to carry Christ into our homes, our neighborhoods, and our daily lives.

“O Sacrament Most Holy, O Sacrament Divine, all praise and all thanksgiving be every moment Thine.”
