"What's the Purpose of Loving Those Who Hate You?" taken from Luke 6:27-28 - Christians may appear to be mad at the world right now and show their hate to those who don't know God and walk in their flesh; however, Christ commanded that we show love no matter what. Attitude is everything in how we interact with others - even our enemies who purposefully seek our ill will. Loving our enemies is not supporting or agreeing with them in everything, and you can even be angry but still love people. Our attitude must be to love people."

"Living to Die" taken from II Corinthians 5:6-11 and Philippians 1:21-24 - Christians should be desiring to die in two ways: 1) to be absent from the body is to be present with Christ in heaven once we've fulfilled His purpose for our lives and 2) we must die to ourselves daily. Heaven is REAL and a beautiful place full of pleasures from the Lord! And, the only way to earn eternal presence with God is to live our lives to please Him, which includes dying to our fleshly desires and serving others. The Christian walk is one of servitude - first to God and second to others - to fulfill His purpose for your life.

"God's Relationship with Man" taken from Genesis 2:7-9; 3:6, 22-24; Revelation 2:7-9 - From the beginning, God wanted relationship with us in which we would use our free will to choose to obey Him. But, the power of flesh can be strong. As Adam allowed Eve's influence to convince him to sin, do not be the person who influences others to disobey God. Rather, have "an ear to hear" the Lord and choose to obey Him that you may have a right to the Tree of Life and eternal life in God's magnificent presence!

"How Satan Makes a Mountain out of a Molehill" taken from Song of Solomon 2:15 - Some of the littlest things can cause the biggest problems, like termites. Vine growth symbolizes our growth in Christ, and "foxes" represent anything the enemy uses to try and hinder that growth. The enemy will stir up small disagreements and concerns in churches to stifle growth and create dissension among the brethren. Don't let him use you to stir up the petty stuff!

"God, Change My Garments" taken from Zechariah 1:1-4, 14-15; 2:8-10; 3:2-5 - Sometimes, we help God be displeased with us by wearing filthy garments (e.g., sin and disobedience) into His presence; however, He is telling us that He wants to change our garments. Instead of sitting in His house with a bad attitude, looking at our phones, or silently wishing the service would hurry up and be finished so we can be on our way, God wants us to be in a state of readiness to get to work for His kingdom and to worship Him. Your present obedience to God determines your future blessings so stop thinking you are fooling God and get to work. True holiness is a position of the heart.
