Happy Easter! ✝️

Happy Easter! Christ is risen! Alleluia!

"They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they went in they did not find the body. While they were perplexed about this, suddenly two men in dazzling clothes stood beside them. The women were terrified and bowed their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, 'Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here but has risen'" (Luke 24:2-5).

Christ is risen! He is risen indeed! Alleluia! ✝️

Today is Ash Wednesday.

Gracious God, out of your love and mercy you breathed into dust the breath of life, creating us to serve you and our neighbors. Call forth our prayers and acts of kindness, and strengthen us to face our mortality with confidence in the mercy of your Son, Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. —Bread for the Day

The final prediction of our SOUPER Bowl Canned Food Drive has been made! While the New England Patriots side of the table gained some donations as the week went on, the Seattle Seahawks side is clearly the favored side to win tonight’s game!

Thank you to everyone who donated for a great cause (North Hills Community Outreach) and joined in the fun! If you didn’t get a chance to participate this time, have no fear, we’ll be bringing this Food Drive back again next year!
