Most Holy Name of Jesus Parish Welcome to Most Holy Name of Jesus Parish, a faith filled community where we seek to give testimony to the love and mercy that God has for each of us.

Founded in 1868, our first Pastor was Rev. Suitbert Mollinger and is the home of St. Anthony's Chapel.

We were honored to have Bishop Mark Eckman of the Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh join us for Stations of the Cross at Saint Anthony Chapel last week and also visited our Lenten Fish Fry. May God continue to fill Bishop Mark with the Gifts of the Holy Spirit to help guide the faithful of Pittsburgh.

Join us for the 2026 Lenten Fish Fry fundraiser on Fridays during Lent from 4:00 - 6:30 p.m.
All Dinners are $17 and includes a choice of Fried Cod or 2 Lump Crab Cakes or 6 Breaded Jumbo Shrimp. Dinners include 2 sides: French Fries, Homemade Macaroni & Cheese, Homemade Halushki or Cole Slaw. Dessert and beverage is included.
Eat in or Take out.

Ash Wednesday is February 18th and is the beginning of Lent, Fish Fry Season, as well as the first day in preparation for the Holy Triduum, when we celebrate Jesus’s death and resurrection.
Liturgy of the Word with ashes will be held at 10:00 a.m. in Saint Anthony Chapel; Holy Mass with ashes will be held at 4:00 p.m. in Most Holy Name of Jesus Church and a Liturgy of the Word with ashes at 7:00 p.m. in Most Holy Name of Jesus Church.

A meager meal of meatless soup and bread will be held at 5:30 p.m. in the School Hall. No charge for the meal, but a free-will offering will be taken for the Jubilee Soup Kitchen.
