Asian Indian Christian Church of Pittsburgh (AICCP) is an independent and non-denominational church mostly comprised of ethnic Asian Indians and local congregation members. We are a church striving to live God’s vision in the city and beyond and carry the message of Jesus through words and deeds especially among the large Indian community in Pittsburgh. We are looking for a part-time Pastor with strength in the areas of Preaching, Teaching, Administrative capabilities, deep spirituality, with a strong sense of pursuing evangelistic activities. The Pastor must be a person with a deep and abiding
personal relationship to Christ and dependent on prayer for all things for example worship and local missions, engages with our community, is a servant leader who joyfully leads by example, and delegates with wisdom.
Qualifications
• A Christ-like attitude of humility and servant leadership who could relate to all congregational members with different cultures/traditions.
• A lifestyle demonstrating consistent spiritual and moral characteristics that are in harmony with the scriptures
• Effective communicator, culturally proficient, with the ability to connect with diverse groups of people.
• Flexible and adaptable, embracing the challenges and opportunities of our changing church reflecting the current wordview.
License/Certification:
• Licensed and ordained, from a theological institute or theological seminary
• Work Location: In person at Pittsburgh, PA.
Work Authorization: Candidate should be authorized to work in the USA. AICCP does not sponsor visas at this time. Please indicate your expectation for monthly/yearly remuneration.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Minister the Word of God and model the Lordship of Christ to our congregation such that it illuminates Scripture, teaches sound doctrine, inspires and convicts towards godly living, and encourages and motivates to follow the Lord Jesus Christ more fully
• Meet routinely with different teams and families, leading bible studies, sharing vision, and spread the gospel especially within the local community and among Asian Indian families.
• Implement a comprehensive strategy for serving children, youth and young adults
• Provide leadership and engage with members of all ages, supporting and guiding them in their faith journeys.
