Deacon Regina Hopewell is offering an 8-month version of the Ignatian Spiritual Exercises called the “Transformation Intensive.” Space is extremely limited, so if you are interested in participating, please fill out an application on Church Center or contact Deacon Regina at moc.liamg@ocstachr. The retreat begins on September 10th and costs $350. A group meeting is held at the church every Thursday for 1.5 hours.

Our Parish Retreat at Laurelville Retreat Center is coming soon, October 2nd - 4th. However, there are only a limited number of rooms available, and our demand outstrips their supply. To help with this, we booked a block of rooms at a Holiday Inn (Mount Pleasant). If you are willing to have a great night’s sleep in a quiet hotel with great beds, consider booking a hotel room and commuting a very short distance to the retreat for the day. Breakfast is provided at the hotel and a deacon will lead the Hotel group each morning in Morning Prayer. Last year our room block was also sold out, so please jump on this opportunity soon! Ascension's International Ministry offers FREE English classes from September through May. Testing and registration for those classes will take place Wednesday, August 12th, from 6:30-8:00 pm, and next Wednesday, August 19th, in the morning from 10 am - 12:30 pm and in the evening from 6:30-8:00 pm.

Registration is open on Church Center and we have groups meeting north, south, east, and west of the city, so make sure to select the gathering closest to home!
