Magnificat Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania Magnificat is a ministry to Catholic women. It thus provides opportunities which will foster a desire to grow in holiness.

Its purpose is to help Catholic women open more and more to the Holy Spirit through a deeper commitment of their lives to Jesus as Lord and to impart the Holy Spirit to one another by their love, service, and sharing the good news of salvation. Magnificat has great appeal to those women who may be struggling with faith or who have lost touch with the Church. It can be a valuable evangelistic tool.

In this Episode of Some Women, Angela, Jackie, and Pat are joined by Susan Potvin as they explore the value and purposes of praise and worship in various settings.

Susan Potvin has been a worship leader for over 40 years. She has a bachelor’s degree in theology from Franciscan University and a Masters in School Counseling from Liberty University. She is the leader of Living Praise Worship team. This group has been together for over 25 years serving at conferences at Franciscan University and the Charismatic Renewal nationally and internationally, many women’s events and retreats including Women of Grace, diocesan events and most especially our Magnificat Ministry.

Susan is our Chair for Praise and Worship. She assists all our chapters to help
raise up worship teams to bring the power of the Holy Spirit to our meals and events.

Susan and her team, Living Praise, provide the worship for our International
Conference. They have recorded 7 albums, all from live worship events. Their music is available on their website at LivingPraiseWorship.com. These worship albums are filled with praise and can launch you or your small group into sustained worship.
