Sermonic Topic: “God Is My Shepherd”
Scriptural Reference: Psalm 23

📌 You are God’s favorite.
📌 There is healing for your past.
📌 Sometimes healing don’t feel good; but it’s working for our good.
📌 God’s opinion is the only opinion that matters.
📌 If God says you can; then, you can.
📌 If God says you will; then, you will.
📌 Pain is going to pay you.
📌 God is giving you permission to take some breaks.
📌 God gives you permission to have emotions; but, it’s not okay to react negatively, as a result of your emotions.
📌 There’s help for your present.
📌 There’s hope for your future.
📌 No matter how many times you’ve messed up; no matter what you’re going through; there’s hope for your future.
📌 God is still your shepherd.
📌 Keep your eye on the shepherd, and you will make it through the valley.
📌 Faith is acting like something is so, when it is not so; in order that it might be so…simply because God said so.
📌 God is in control.

Building Block #17

Topic: "Get Your House In Order"
Scriptural Reference: Isaiah 38:1-7

In the above scripture passage, Hezekiah was sick and at the cusp of death. The prophet Isaiah....son of Amoz, came and delivered the cumbersome news to Hezekiah, admonishing him to get his house in order; for he would die and not live. Hezekiah resolved in his spirit that time was running out for him; so he had to think quickly and make a plea to the Lord; with the hopes of sustaining his life. Hezekiah then turned his face to the wall and prayed; reminding the Lord of how he had striven to live a life pleasing unto him. Shortly after his plea to the Lord, Hezekiah wept sorely. The Lord had spoken to Hezekiah, letting him know that he heard his prayer and saw his tears. So, the Lord made a promise to Hezekiah to not only add 15 years to his lifespan; but also to deliver him and the city out of the hands of the Assyrian king.

Imagine being in Hezekiah's situation; gravely sick and at the cusp of death. You've been informed to get your life together; to get your house in order, for your time is soon to be up. Will you be ready? If you're not sure, the challenge is on! Today, take inventory of your life to see where you may need improvement. Forgive those who you may have an alt against. Apologize to those whom you may have offended. Unlike Hezekiah, you may not have a chance to make a plea unto God, to sustain your life. That's why it pays to check your life now; making sure that you have lived a life that is pleasing unto God. Time is winding up. "Get Your House In Order."

Sermonic Topic: “Pain Paid You”
Scriptural Reference: Luke 23:26-43

📌 Pain paid you, whether you want to believe it or not.
📌 Jesus was still an example; even when he was on his way to be crucified, on the cross.
📌 Jesus Christ was the ultimate example of today’s sermonic topic, “Pain Paid You.”
📌 Jesus allowed what he was going to to help someone else.
📌 Being in Christ comes with dealing with persecution.
📌Even in what Jesus had gone through…in being crucified, Jesus allowed his pain to pay him.
📌 We have to remember how Jesus paid the ultimate sacrifice, on the cross for our sins.

Building Block #16

Topic: "It's Not Your Fight"
Scriptural Reference: 2 Chronicles 20:15; Ephesians 6:12 (KJV)

Hold up...stop. If you can, just close your eyes and take a deep breath. If you need to, keep your eyes closed and take another deep breath. Don't trip...God's got you.

No matter what people say and do to you....forgive and release your burdens to God, and let him handle the rest. Don't operate in flesh...trying to seek revenge, "have the last laugh", nor tell your side of the story. You may be trying to defend yourself verbally or physically; but, that will soon prove to be volatile. What you have to realize is that...what you're dealing with is not in the natural; but rather, supernatural. Anytime drama occurs, intentions and motives are conceived in the spirit, first...before it manifests itself verbally, physically, etc. You're not fighting against flesh and blood; but against all of the principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Therefore, only the word of God and prayer can put all of that drama, to an end. Just make sure that you don't allow your flesh to take over, and cause more drama.

The Lord is omniscient and knows exactly what happened; so there is no need to prove anything. The fight is fixed, and you're already the winner! Having said that, don't trip! Just let it go and walk in the victory and power that God has girded you in. God's opinion is the only opinion that matters! "It's Not Your Fight!"

Bible Study Topic: "Pain Paid Me"
Scriptural Reference: Isaiah 54:17

📌 Pain is a natural part of being human; it is also a natural part of being a Christian.
📌 People don't like pain.
📌 Sometimes, pain is necessary for your growth, in the Lord.
📌 Most of our problems start in our heads.
📌 God is the real pain killer.
📌 We have to learn how to find that place of peace.
📌 Sometimes, take the time to tell God about your day.
📌 Sometimes, the pain doesn't go away. But, you can "chill' because God has got your back.
📌 A weapon is defined as anything that is used to harm you; to kill; to knock you down.
📌 So many things in your life can serve as weapons, to come and get you. But, the word of God says that "no weapon formed against you shall prosper" (Isaiah 54:17).
📌 Only what you do for Christ will last.
📌 The only person that you can truly depend on...the one who understands you the most is God.
📌 God's opinion is the only opinion that matters.

Scriptural Reference: Luke 9:23

📌 Make a definite decision.
📌 God is giving us a chance to make a definite decision.
📌 When you follow the Lord, it’s a choice.
📌 We must be firm in our decision, to follow Christ.
📌 We ought to be daring disciples.
📌 Many people are self-indulging.
📌 We must win by staying as far away from Satan’s territory as possible.
📌 God wants us to have daily devotion.
📌 People are often devoted to self, and the things they want to do.
📌 We need to be diligent in our worship unto God.
📌 We have to seek God first and his righteousness; and all of the things he has in store for us will be added i to us.
📌 God is able.
📌 We need to be devoted to church attendance, Bible study, prayer, and sharing Christ with others.
📌 We need to be determined to do what God has called us to do.
📌 We need to develop a bulldog tenacity to do God’s will.
📌 Have a “do or die” attitude in serving God.
