God is a Good God. He desires good for His people, for His children. One thing that I have learned over the years is that “if it is not good it is not God.” God has a heart for people. And He does not search the mind but the hearts of people. He has given one message to His people over and over again. Hear me and obey. When God asks you to do something it is because He knows it is for your good. There are several times God has asked me to do things, one of them is to do these devotionals. Trust me for me that was a big gulp. I thought when He gave me the idea it was for my husband, Tracy. “He is the preacher.” I reasoned in my mind. But it did not take long for it to be confirmed that this was mine. This was the start of my part in this ministry. So I obeyed. I got before God with my Bible and said, “Okay Lord now what?” And before the day was done He was pouring so many things into me that He wants me to share that I had to ask Him to slow down. I could not write as fast as He was giving me things. But with His help I have been able to do it. I knew that if I tried to do it on my own it would never work. That is where we have to get to in our everyday lives, in everything that we do. We have to realize that if we try to do it without Him it will not work. He is not some far away being that lives way off yonder in the sky somewhere. He lives inside of every believer. When you except Him into your heart He comes and dwells there. He is with you twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. And He knows what is in your heart because He is there. So even when you feel like you are all alone you are never alone. He is always with you. So as you go through your week take the time to ask God about everything that you are planning on doing. If it doesn’t settle well in your spirit it might not be a godly thing to do. Make sure that you are leaving the door to God open and the door to the enemy shut tight. Walk in love and be quick to forgive. Unforgiveness is a root that will grow to the point of bitterness, and scripture says that bitterness rots the bones. Forgiveness also opens the door to The Blessing on your life. God desires to bless everyone just like He had originally planned. Look at the Garden of Eden. It was full of food, the weather was always nice and there was gold laying on the ground. Adam and Eve lacked nothing. God told them one
thing to listen and obey. “Do not eat of the Tree.” There is no telling what would have happened if they had asked forgiveness instead of blaming it on someone else. We have to watch that we
do not do that. Don’t go to God and say, “well I can’t forgive them you just don’t understand what they did to me.” Unforgiveness also hinders your prayers from being answered. I like having an open communication with God. So I am quick to forgive. Even little things can build up if you let them pass without dealing with them. People driving slow in front of you or cutting you off is a good example. The moment you get angry even though you don’t even know the person unforgiveness has worked its way in. Say “In the Name of Jesus I forgive this person and Lord I ask you to Bless them.” And mean it in your heart. You will be surprised at how quickly you will start to feel a lot better and less tense when you are going some place. And those things
will not bother you. The enemy is looking for any way in that he can find. And for a lot of people this is one area that is overlooked a lot of the time. You hear all kinds of stories about road rage. All it is is the enemy working his way in to ruin the blessing in the lives of people.

What is True Love?

The dictionary describes love as a very strong warm feeling or deep concern for someone. And to feel passion or a strong affection for someone or something. That is the way the world looks at love. We hear it out of peope all the time. Like "I love my car." But God's love is true love. And it is not ment for things. God gave us things to enjoy and people to love. God is love. And to truely love is a command. The bible commands us to love everyone. It is not a choice. It is not well maybe I will if I feel like it or I will if they are good to me. Love, true love, doesn't work that way. Lets take a look at what the bible says true love, God's love, is. Love in the Amplified Bible is defined in 1 Corinthians 13:4-8. "Love endures long and is patient and kind; love never is envious nor boils over with jealousy, is not boastful or vainglorious, does not display itself haughtily. It is not conceited (arrogant and inflated with pride); it is not rude (unmannerly) and does not act unbecomingly. Love (God's love in us) does not insist on its own rights or its own way, for it is not self-seeking; it takes no account of the evil done to it [it pays no attention to a suffered wrong]. It does not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but rejoices when right and truth prevail. Love bears up under anythin and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, its hopes are fadeless under all circumstances, and it endures everything [without weakening]. Love never fails [never fades out or becomes obsolete or cmes to an end]."
Now go back and replace the word "love" with the word "God", because we know according to 1 John 4:8 that God is love, and reread it. This is the love God has for every person on this planet. And it is that love for all of us that sent Jesus to the cross to save us. In light of His love for us lets look at our part. We are to love others like He loves us. Notice I didn't say "loved", past tense, but "loves" because His love never ends. And because He loves us He wants the best for us and to give it to us. The way we get that is by walking in love with everyone. When we get out of love and into strife we open the door to the enemy to come in and steal and kill and destroy our lives (John 10:10). So take a stand today to walk in love and close the door to the devil in your life.

The Lord has given us the ability to come boldly to the throne of grace. To go boldly you have to know who you are in Christ. If you don't think you are worthy you will not be bold. And on your woen trying to do everything in your own natural ability you are not. What a relief! You can not do it on your own, that is why God sent Jesus. His blood makes us righteous and gives us the ability to walk boldly into the throne room of God and ask for His Will in our lives. His Will is not for His children to be sick, poor and lacking, any more than any parent on this planet wants that for their own kids. Jesus came to restore us to God so that He could pour out His Blessing on His children just like He had planned from the very beginning. There was no sickness in the Garden of Eden. There was no lack or poverty, gold was laying on the ground and food was around them everywhere they looked. That is still God's Will. We hear people say that God will make you sick to teach you something. God can't give you something He doesn't have. Do you see God sitting in heaven on His throne sick? Of course not! Do you see people walking around heaven sick? No! That is because He doesn't have sickness to give. You might say, "True, but God will let the devil put it on you." No! God has nothing to do with it. The devil walks about as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. All power and authority to overcome him has been given to us. We are not the sick trying to be healed. We are the Healed and satan is trying to steal it. He roars with symptoms of sickness and we choose who we believe. God's Word that says He took every sickness and disease on the cross for us so we don't have to have them or the devil who wants to steal and kill and destroy everything in our lives. The choice is ours! Jesus is my choice. He came that we may have life and have it to the full. I GO BOLDLY TO THE THRONE AND CLAIM LIFE TO THE FULL!
