**Dr. B.R. Ambedkar's 135 Birth Anniversary Celebration – Invitation**

Sri Guru Ravidass Sabha will be celebrating the **135th Birth Anniversary of Babasaheb Dr. B. R. Ambedkar** at **Sri Guru Ravidass Temple**, 2150 Crestview Drive, Pittsburg, on April 19, 2026.

The program will begin with **Sukhmani Sahib Path**, followed by a **Kirtan Diwan** and **Ardas**. **Langar** will be served at the Gurughar.

After the religious program, the Sangat will proceed to the **Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Education Center**, 2220 Crestview Drive, Pittsburg, for the **unveiling of Babasaheb’s statue**. Distinguished guests and community members will speak about Babasaheb’s life and his great contributions to society.

The event will also mark the **opening of the library** inside the Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Education Center. The library will include books written by and about Babasaheb, along with books about our culture and Gurus.

**Snacks and soft drinks will be served during this event.**

You are all humbly requested to come with your families and participate in this **Grand Opening celebration**.

Parkash Utsav of "Sahibe–e-kmaal " Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji, the tenth Sikh Guru will be celebrated on Sunday, January 25, 2026, at Sri Guru Ravidass Temple, Pittsburg. Sukhmani Sahin Sahib Path and Langer Sewa will be hosted by Sangat and Sewadars.

Guru Gobind Singh ji was the son of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur ji, the ninth Sikh Guru, and Mata Gujri. He formed the KHALSA PANTH on April 13, 1699. Guru Gobind Singh ji sacrificed the lives of his young sons and his own, pretty much His whole family, to save the lives of others. He was a great warrior, poet and a Spiritual Guru.
Sangat is requested to come and celebrate Gurpurab and get Guru Sahib’s blessings.

Sri Guru Ravidass Sabha CA, Pittsburg is celebrating the 649th Parkash Utsav of SATGURU RAVIDASS JI on Sunday, February 1, 2026 at the temple as per program noted below:

ARAMBH SRI AKHAND PATH - January 30, 2026 (Friday) 9:30 AM, Nishan Sahib Hoisting Ceremony - January 31, 2026 (Saturday) 11:00 AM. BHOG SRI AKHAND PATH - February 1, 2026 (Sunday) 9:30 AM, KIRTAN DIWAN - After Bhog Ceremony until 2:00 pm.
Sangat will perform Langer, Path and Parshad Sewa for this program. Prominent Kirtani Jathas of Bhai Sukhwinder Singh Raju (Hazuri Ragi) , Giani Balwinder Singh and Giani Nishan Singh will delight Sangat with Guru Ka Kirtan.

There will be a Health Camp on February 1, 2026 at the Gurughar. There are 4 doctors coming to do this Sewa from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM.

We need volunteers to help with this event to prepare and serve Langar, keep Gurughar clean and organized, directing traffic/parking, kitchen and other Sewa. Sri Guru Ravidass ji was born in 1377, in Kanshi, in India. Guru Ravidass Ji was a great religious and social reformer. Guru Sahib dedicated his whole life for the welfare of the humanity. He preached social harmony and equality among all human beings. His BANI is enshrined in Sri Guru Granth Sahib.

Bhai Suveg Singh ji’s jatha will do Shabad Kirtan on Saturday evening along with our Gurughar Jatha from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
