Getting excited as we get closer to VBS kick off. We are a little over a month away from the start of VBS! We will be having a few decoration days coming up.....please join us for fun, exciting.....sometimes frustrating.....lol...decorating. Lots to do and we have good fellowship during our time together. Doing this all for God's glory and sharing His word with the children he sends our way!

Upcoming work days:

Friday June 20th @ 1:30 pm and Saturday June 21st @10 am

Friday June 27 and Saturday June 28th both days at 10 am.

VBS Work Day next Saturday, February 17 @ 10:00. Join us as we begin the first decorations for VBS.
I need all hands on deck....everything we will be working on is easy and will hopefully get the excitement for VBS going. Allow God to use you! We will have a great time of fellowship!

Supplies we are looking for:

Pool Noodles
Spray foam (got my can from Wal-Mart for under $5)
Paint all colors Acrylic and spray paint

VBS update: Dates for SCUBA VBS are Sunday July 21st-Friday July 26th 5:00-8:30 pm nightly with the exception of Friday. Friday night will be Family Night.

There are a few things we are needing for VBS decorations.....the list will grow as we come across things we need. If you want to purchase any of these items please let Tammie, Amber or Sandra know.

Pool Noodles all colors
Pipe cleaners all colors
Coffee Filters
All colors of spray paint (bright colors)
Acrylic paints all colors especially bright colors
Wooden skewers
Googly eyes all sizes
Boxes (all sizes)
Paper lanterns (all colors/sizes)
Crepe paper streamer rolls all colors
Colored poster board (all colors)
Cans of expanding spray foam (5 cans)

These are just a few things....we know of right now.

Next work day is Saturday February 17th

March 2nd we will work on more decorations but this meeting will be mandatory for anyone working VBS as we will need to finalize who is working where.

Well it's that time of year again. Time to start preparing for VBS 2024. July really isn't that far away and it is going to take all hands on deck.

If you are interested in working/helping with SCUBA VBS we ask that you join us Saturday January 20th at 2:30 in the afternoon in the fellowship hall.

Areas where help is needed or leaders are needed:

Bible Adventures
Pre-K Leader
Recreation Leader and helper
Need some to help Kara Campbell with music
Crew Leaders
Spotlight VBS (someone that is photo/tech Savvy
Someone to help Amber Thomas with crafts
Folks to help Joy with food/snacks

Folks to help with Decor building/making
