Have you heard?! Sunday's going to be a HUGE day at PBC! Join us Sunday (8/30) for "Youth Sunday" at PBC. Our student ministry will lead us throughout the entire worship service! Worship with our Youth Worship Band, hear Scripture, testimonies from several of our students, and a message from PBC Youth - Eli Truesdale!

Then... Sunday night, ALL youth groups and friends are invited for "Breakthrough" Youth Night of Worship at 5pm at PBC!

It's going to be a great day! Pray for all involved, but also for a powerful move of the Holy Spirit in hearts.

This past Saturday, PBC came together for our 2nd annual "Power Play Sports Camp." The day featured fun skills and drills development across five sports with lunch, ice cream, and a mid-day devotion that focused on the need we have for the Good News of Jesus Christ. It was a fun, super hot, safe, and well-attended day of camp. Thank you to everyone who participated, but also to all of our awesome volunteers who made the day happen!

Throughout this week, college students across the country are moving onto campus for a new school year. PBC has 13 college students over 10 campuses. Let's be praying for them, their families, and for the school year ahead. They have a tremendous opportunity to be a light for Christ, make new friendships and connections, and to grow in their studies!

This coming Sunday (August 16), we will be praying over all students and school faculty & staff as everyone begins a new school year throughout this month.

New Sermon Series Coming Tomorrow Morning at PBC!

It is possible to have everything this life can offer and still feel empty. Solomon had more wealth, achievements, pleasures, wisdom, and desires fulfilled than any man in history, and he wrote a book to tell us none of it was enough. In this series through the book of Ecclesiastes, we are going to learn that only God can provide purpose, perspective, value, meaning, and wisdom that will actually last.

“Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on.” President Ronald Reagan

Today we give thanks to God for those who served with such courage, bravery and honor. We pray for the families who still carry the grief of such great loss, and we ask God to help us live as people worthy of such sacrifice. May we walk in gratitude, grace, humility, and faithfulness as we worship our Savior, but also to honor those who have paid such a great price to live in freedom.

We had an amazing Sunday of worship and celebration on May 3rd at PBC. As a part of the service, "Commissioned/Sent" the Jurius family for full time ministry in Greece. They have arrived safely in Athens, and are well into their first week there! The Jurius family ministered to us through songs as well as Josh giving a great message from Isaiah 6:1-13 titled "Why Not Us?"
At the end of service, we prayed over their family. Please pray for the Jurius family along with several others who are joining them on mission for the next couple weeks (one of which is a PBC member, Henry Cain!)
