What do people sense when they have an encounter with you?

Scripture says we are the “aroma of Christ” to God. To some, that fragrance is life and hope. To others, it may be rejected. But either way—the presence of Christ in us is unmistakable.

Once, we were far from God—lost in sin, going our own way. Yet through Christ, we’ve been forgiven, redeemed, and brought into a new life. That alone should fill our hearts with continual gratitude.

Now, we walk daily in His presence. Not perfectly—but faithfully. Surrendering to Him again and again, allowing Him to shape our thoughts, our words, and our actions.

And as we do, our lives begin to carry a fragrance born of a joyful surrender to Christ.

Not because of who we are—
But because of who He is in us.

Today, walk in love. Live in His presence. Reflect His grace.

Let everyone around you encounter the aroma of Christ today.

Both the humanity and divinity of Jesus are clearly revealed in His prayer in Gethsemane.

He knew the physical torture, suffering, and death that awaited Him. Yet He also knew something even deeper—that for the first time in eternity past, and the only time in all eternity, He would bear the sins of the world and experience separation from the Father as He became the perfect sacrifice for our forgiveness. Because of His sacrifice, those who are saved through Jesus Christ are reconciled to God. Our lives, therefore, should reflect His heart.

Like Jesus, our prayer and our daily desire should be: “Not my will, but yours, be done.

What a great way to ring in the spring season! 🌸These ladies came together to create beautiful wreaths—and walked away with so much more than just something pretty for their doors. It was such a fun and uplifting time together.

Every wreath turned out uniquely gorgeous, just like the women who made them 💕 Thank You, Lord, for all of your beautiful creation!

There was joy in Jerusalem the day Jesus entered, only days away from his arrest and
crucifixion. Hosanna is a derivative of the Hebrew word meaning “save”.

Over time, it has also come to be used as a blessing and acclamation. In this, the people expressed the joy of God’s anointed, the Son of David, coming to save his people. Our joy in celebrating Easter is the same.

We need salvation, and we can have it through Jesus, the Son of David, the Christ.

In the referenced verse, Jesus explains that what defiles a person flows from the heart.

If food feeds the body, then what feeds the heart?

We are constantly surrounded by influences that shape our desires, thoughts, and actions—and not all of them are good. They threaten to subtly pull our hearts away from God.

But the Word of God is good. It nourishes the heart and leads us in the way of righteousness.

Psalm 1:1–2 — Blessed is the man who delights in the law of the LORD.
Psalm 119:9 — How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to Your word.
Psalm 37:23 — The steps of a man are established by the LORD, when he delights in His way.

If you are in the college/career age range, we’d love to have you join us as we do a deep dive into Romans each week. The Excel Bible study group meets every Thursday night at 7pm. 📖✨

Finally then, brethren, we request and exhort you in the Lord Jesus, that as you received from us instruction as to how you ought to walk and please God (just as you actually do walk), that you EXCEL still more.”

Paul’s appeal to Philemon shows that forgiveness in Christ is more than words—it’s action. Philemon was called to welcome Onesimus back not as a slave, but as a brother. When we forgive those who’ve hurt us deeply, we reveal the gospel-change Christ has done in us. That kind of forgiveness is visible, transformative, and always points back to Jesus.
