All of a sudden Labor Day came and went, and now we're into September!
The summer was another great series of Camp Meeting services. If you missed any, take a stroll through the below post that summarizes each of the summer's 7 evenings.

The Camp Meeting opened this past Sunday (7/13). First UMC of Glassboro was the host church. Their praise team "Magnify" brought their usual upbeat and inspiring music, and then Glassboro's pastor, Rev. Tim Conaway preached a thought-provoking and challenging message on Romans 12. In order to see Jesus, we need to change our perspective and priorities; become transformed from the inside out, including God in every day to day detail of our lives (even when making coffee). Or in his movie analogy, life in Christ is hard to see unless we wear our "3D glasses".

That was week #1 of the Camp Meeting; there are 7 more to go! This Sunday (7/20), Rev. Jim Hughes will inspire us with his presentation of music and drama. When Jim Hughes comes to the Camp Meeting, you never know which Biblical character will come along with him! The service starts at 7:30 in the Grove Auditorium.

The 2025 season of the Pitman Camp Meeting starts THIS Sunday (July 13)! The Sunday services will be held at 7:30 PM between July 13 through August 24.

Due to tonight's forecast of heavy thunderstorms, the Camp Meeting service has been MOVED from the Grove Auditorium to the Pitman United Methodist Church Chapel. (click below for directions). Note that this will be in the CHAPEL, not the main sanctuary.

The Pitman Camp Meeting is ready for 2023! The first service will be held on Sunday July 9 (PUMC will host), and the season will continue through Sunday August 13. Open the below post for details.

The Pitman Camp meeting kicks off its 152nd season on July 9. A six-week series of worship services will be presented throughout the summer.

This season has been shorter than usual, but just as inspirational and memorable. From Rev. Bill Wilson, One Way Express, Rev. Jim Hughes, and Rev. Jim Bolton, each week has brought a different evening of inspiration.
This week is the last service of the year! On Sunday 7/31 Rev. Sherry Zapolla will give the final message of the summer.

After a 2-year absence, the Pitman Camp Meeting has returned! The abbreviated 2022 season will be held on Sunday evenings at 7:30 during the four weeks of July.

The Camp Meetings are back, and the services are reminding us of how much we missed them the past couple of years!
On 7/10 Rev. Bill Wilson Looked at David to show us how to defeat our own "giants," and last week Rev. Jim Hughes (appearing as himself!), reminded us to look at the cross. The music of One Way Express and then of Jim Hughes was as inspirational as it always is.
This week, PUMC will host and Rev. Jim Bolton will bring the message.

The 2022 Pitman Camp Meeting season starts tomorrow night! (Sunday 7/10, 7:30 PM). Rev. Bill Wilson will be the speaker and the One Way Express will provide the special music.
