Cortland Bible Camp firmly belives that all children have the right to attend camp, to hear the good news of the Grace of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. That opportunity is at risk, so we have partnered with like-minded camps like Circle C Ranch to spread the word about NY Summer Camp Bill S398A. This bill would require campers and staff to be fully vaccinated to attend or work at summer camps in NY. Regardless of your stance on vaccines, I hope that you will stand with us as we protect every child’s right to enjoy summer camp.

🚨 URGENT: NY Summer Camp Bill S3958A 🚨

A new bill moving through the New York Senate could require campers and staff to meet the full school vaccine schedule in order to attend:
Overnight Camps
Day Camps
Traveling Summer Camps

The bill has already passed the Senate Health Committee and could soon move to the full Senate floor for a vote.

Many families, camps, and organizations are raising concerns about:
• No religious exemptions
• Difficulty obtaining medical exemptions
• Increased administrative burdens on camps
• Whether there is evidence showing this mandate is necessary for summer camps

1. Call your NY State Senator
2. Ask them to oppose S3958A or stop it from moving forward
3. Share your concerns respectfully and clearly

Check out our Amazon wish list! We have items on there from outdoor sports equipment to candy store items which will help keep candy store costs down. Your donations help camp run smoothly and also help keep various opportunities like sports and candy store open to our campers! New items are added periodically, check back from time to time. Mini week at CBC is an opportunity for children ages 6-8 years old to get a taste of what camp is all about! Mini camp is a 3 day, 2 night adventure filled with activities, games, outdoor fun, Bible lessons and songs geared specifically towards this younger age group. Mini campers will get to try out each of the different achievements and activities camp has to offer, such as archery, swimming, crafts, sports and nature. Arguably the most exciting part of mini camp is camp carnival, complete with a bounce house, carnival games, face painting and rides on the "J" Train! We understand what it is like dropping your kiddo off for their first overnight camp adventure. You can rest assured that safety is our top priority. We welcome you to visit camp during our camp kickoff on June 20th to get a tour of camp, meet some staff and see first hand the exciting activities camp has to offer!

The build is complete! (Once the lumber cures we will stain it) This pavilion will provide shade during hot days for campers, dry space for achievement groups on wet days and space for our retreats to gather. The newest addition to camp was made possible by a generous donation. 100% of the funds were donated! This is more than just an asset to camp, It's proof that your generosity can make a difference. This project started as an idea of "something that would be nice to have but we do not have the capital to do" until someone caught the vision. There are lots of other ideas and opportunities to help create a more optimal space at camp. If you want to make a difference at camp please reach out!

Youth Weeks are the meat and potatoes of the summer camp ministry here at CBC. Camp began in 1968 as a place for after school Bible clubs with elementary aged students to gather during the summer season. We continue that tradition by offering 4 out of the 6 weeks of camp as Youth Weeks where children ages 8-13 are invited to come participate in the fun, age appropriate activities camp has to offer. Activities include archery, swimming, exploring nature, campfires, fishing, crafts, drama, team competitions, hanging out at hammock village, sports, Bible lessons and so much more!

Youth week is an overnight, Sunday through Friday program. Day campers are also welcome to join in with the daily camp schedule alongside overnight campers. Day Camp arrival and pickup can be tailored to what works best for your schedule.
