As we close this beautiful chapter that is Summer Camp 2026 we want to take a minute to say thank you to every person that helped make camp a success. From every member of the program staff, swing staff, leadership staff, the speakers, the lifeguards to our amazing volunteers, we could not have done this without you! What a privilege to have walked alongside each one of you in serving the youth of our communities near and far. We are already looking forward to the next chapter 😎🙌 Enjoy the rest of your summer and may you be blessed!

One of our posts had a follower reminiscing about his time as a camper here at Cortland Bible Camp in 1968, 1969 and 1970. He shared this picture of the badges he earned as a camper that he has kept all these years! A testament to the lifelong memories and the impact camp can have on a child’s life. Thank you Dave K. For sharing!

At Cortland Bible Camp, we want to encourage the reading of God’s Holy Word. One of the fun, engaging ways scripture is learned here at camp is through daily Bible drills. Cortland Christian Academy shares the same heart in encouraging children to dive into scripture. CCA generously sponsored these plaques, modeled after a leather Bible cover, for each of our weekly Bible drill winners. Thank you CCA! It’s our prayer that each winner who receives one will often look at their plaque and remember what they’ve learned about God’s Word here at camp this summer.

John 1:1 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”

Hebrews 4:12a “For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword…”

John 1:5 “The light shines in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome it.”

There’s rain in the forecast this week, but we aren’t going to let that ruin a good time! Youth Week 1 starts tomorrow and we have a lot of fun planned, rain or shine!

Parents/guardians, in order to keep the kids as comfortable as possible (and the cabins smelling as good as possible 😅😂) please pack extra socks, an extra pair of sneakers or a pair of rain boots and a waterproof jacket if you have one.

Thank you! We look forward to seeing you at registration tomorrow

This crew (plus a few others that had to leave earlier… we missed you!) has been putting the work in, ALL WEEK, training and preparing to welcome and serve the youth in our communities this summer. This evening we went to Dorchester park to take some time to rest, relax and have some fun together. Looking forward to the first, official day of summer camp tomorrow! We are so ready 💪🙏🙌🥳

It’s official! Red Fred is IN THE SHED! 🥳

The new shed arrived this week and it has made such a difference at camp already. The added storage for the lawn tools, lawn mower tractor and our side by side, known as Red Fred, is very beneficial and will help camp’s equipment last!

Thank you to all who donated to make this happen!

And to each individual who came out to support sending campers to camp through the Dave and Joyce Camp Scholarship fund, we thank you as well and hope you had a great time.
