** There will be NO service this Wednesday night so that families can take time to spend together.**

**We will meet Thursday Morning at 8am to arrange plates for our Annual Community Meal. We still need a few additional volunteers to help with assembly and delivery!!! Please see Sis. Heather or Sis. Ashleigh for more details!**

Know the Word!!!!

In our youth lesson yesterday we learned about Pentecost Sunday......but we took a little spin on a certain point. When we are confused, overwhelmed, questioning God, tired, fatigued.....what do we do??? Well the devil will throw depression, oppression, frustration, anger and many more emotions and hopelessness at you......BUT don't let us forget how IMPORTANT the WORD is to our battles!!!!

As the people were confused on the day of Pentecost, Peter reminded them of the words of the prophet Joel.....

And as Jesus himself was tempted He reminded Satan that IT IS WRITTEN!!!

If Peter had to clear up the confusion with the word....what makes us think we won't need to as well?

If Jesus Himself had to quote the word to Satan.....what makes us think we won't have to??

KNOW THE WORD!

FIGHT WITH THE WORD!

REBUKE WITH THE WORD!

CLAIM WITH THE WORD!

Acts 2:14-18

14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, raised his voice and said to them, “Men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and heed my words. 15 For these are not drunk, as you suppose, since it is only the third hour of the day. 16 But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:

17 ‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God,

That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh;

Your sons and myour daughters shall prophesy,

Your young men shall see visions,

Your old men shall dream dreams.
