February – March 2022
Dear Soldiers of the Cross,
As I begin this prayer letter, I must start with giving God thanks for allowing me to see the birth of my first great granddaughter. This brings a joy to my soul that words cannot describe. Our little Ms Kenley Elizabeth Billingsley was born on February 1st. I’m reminded of Genesis 50:23 how God allowed Joseph to see his children of the third generation and the Bible says, “they were brought up upon Joseph’s knees” and beloved, I’m asking God for the same blessing. No greater blessing than the opportunity to instill God’s principles into the hearts of your children.
We are rejoicing once again that God met with us in a special way at 2022 Share-A-Thon. The preaching and singing were out of this world. I can’t say that we were in the third heaven, but I believe I could see it at a close distance. Through your faithful giving the radio and internet budget was met. Thank you for standing with this great mission supported ministry. For those of you that are not tuned in, you can go to wgcr.net on your internet device or download the ABN app from your app store. You will find no greater preaching or singing anywhere else.
Once again God has opened many doors of opportunity for us. I have been very busy working on our schedule for this upcoming year. Right now, we have Vacation Bible Schools (VBS) scheduled from Maine to Washington State to Alaska, and for the first time ever, God has blessed us with enough churches to get her done. I guess it took the coronavirus of 2020 and 2021 to stir us up and get us moving. I guess we know better now how to pray for help: “Lord, whatever it takes.” If you remember two years ago, I was on the Kootenai Reservation in the panhandle of Idaho. This is the reservation where the lady told me that they were not looking for God and “we don’t want you here.” Praise the Lord! I’m glad to report to you that as of just a few days ago, God has given us an open door to go out on the reservation

Dear Soldiers of the Cross,
We are praising the Lord for another year HE has given us to labor for HIM in HIS white vineyard. The Lord has blessed us with good health and more than anything, a desire to put my hand to the Gospel plow and till the ground and plant the precious seed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. What could be more thrilling in this life than winning souls for the Kingdom?
I would like to thank each one of you that participated in sending the Christmas shoeboxes out to the reservations. Your acts of kindness brought so much joy to the hearts of so many kids that would not have received anything for Christmas. Heaven has recorded your efforts and God has put this to your account, and when we stand before Him you will receive your reward. The Gospel of Jesus Christ has hands and feet and thank you so much for allowing God to use yours. Our greatest missionary, JESUS CHRIST, gave us so many examples on how to minister to people, through the Word and also by meeting their needs.
I would like to bring back to your attention a previous prayer request we had a few months ago. For some time now, God has put on my heart to build a warehouse somewhere in the southwest. This warehouse would serve as a drop-off point for supplies for missionaries and their churches. Back in December Bro Robert Jones and I traveled out to Deming, New Mexico, and looked at some property that has been made available to us by a local Baptist church. I must be honest with you — God has truly touched my heart about this property. PLEASE help us pray about this burden. I know that where God guides, HE will supply.
In my November 2021 prayer letter, I shared with you the great opportunity we had to visit Harvard University in Massachusetts and to view and touch the first Bible printed in America, John Eliott’s Native American Wampanoag Bible. I am pleased to let you know that we are in the process of getting this Bible reprinted and made available without charge to ever

Good morning everyone. We had a wonderful visit yesterday with the Wampanoag tribe on Martha's vineyard. I was blessed to find that they do have a Baptist Church and I had the opportunity to meet and spend some time with their dear Pastor. I also discovered that this Baptist Church is the oldest (continually operating) Native American Church in the nation, established in 1693, "Praise the Lord". Please pray for us as we will be Preaching for the Mashpee Wampanoag Baptist church tomorrow.

Good morning everyone. I'm on my way to Martha's vineyard this morning to visit the Wampanoag Tribe of Gay Head (Aquinnah). At present I do not know of a Gospel work among these dear folks. Please pray that we have Godspeed. My time spent this week with the Wampanoag tribe on Cape Cod has been good, please pray for our church meeting with them on Sunday.

August 2021 Prayer Letter

Dear Soldiers of the Cross,

I trust everyone is doing well and busy about our father’s business. I ended my last month’s prayer letter with a plea that our RV repairs would go well. Praise the Lord, God came to our rescue with an overwhelming response. I cannot at this time see or understand the whole of what God is doing through our camper problems but I do see His hand working. Our initial problem was an injector tip blow off inside the engine and was dumping to much fuel into the system that also caused a fire from the exhaust. After a $1200 tow bill to Missoula Montana and a $3500 repair bill I was back on the road to my next VBS in Blackfoot Idaho. Before getting to our destination, I knew that we still had some issues with the RV. I was able to make the last night of the VBS were we had 4 kids ask God for salvation, praise the Lord. After the VBS I was able to get the RV into another dealership in Pocatello Idaho for more repairs. The injector tip that was not found or removed by the other dealership had caused serious problems. The long story short, we had to replace the engine. Again, we are not able to see all that God is doing but this we can see, God’s people have come to our rescue and have covered the full cost of this more than $21,000 repair bill. Our hearts are overwhelmed and we are so humbled by your gracious generosity. Ms Sheril and I will be flying out to pick up the RV in a few days. I want to thank all the churches and individuals that have prayed for us and have financially met our needs, you truly have blessed our souls.

My grandson Levi, now 11 years old, has traveled with me for nearly a month helping with our VBS's. He has been a tremendous help to me in the ministry and a comfort in these days that MS. Sheril is not able to travel with me due to taking care of her mom. The Lord saved Bro Levi at 9 years old and
