WORD FOR THE DAY
TOPIC: YOU MUST NOT POST EVERYTHING GOD IS DOING IN YOUR LIFE ON SOCIAL MEDIA
Some victories do not need a press conference. Some breakthroughs lose their fragrance the moment they are exposed to the noise of public approval. There are miracles that are too holy to be turned into entertainment, too sacred to be explained away, and too precious to be subjected to the opinions of spectators who never fought your battles. See, Goliath fell, but David never posted the stone. He never gathered the crowd to explain the angle of the sling. He never held seminars on the quality of the pebbles from the brook. He never invited people behind the scenes to dissect the strategy that brought down a giant. The giant lay defeated, and that was testimony enough. We live in an age where people feel pressured to document everything, to announce every blessing, justify every decision, explain every breakthrough, and seek validation for every achievement. I must tell you that it is not every victory in your life that belongs in the marketplace of public opinion. Some triumphs are conversations between your soul and God. There are people who would have laughed at Noah if they had understood his instructions. There are people who would have mocked Joseph's dreams before they witnessed Egypt bowing before his wisdom. There are people who would have questioned David's methods before they saw Goliath's body on the ground. Had David sought public approval before stepping onto the battlefield, he might never have released the stone.
One of the greatest signs of maturity is learning that explanation is not an obligation. You do not owe everyone access to your prayers, your tears, your sacrifices, your strategies, or your secret place with God. The world is entitled to witness the fruit; it is not entitled to inspect the roots. Many people destroy what God is building because they announce it too early. They expose seeds before they become trees. They reveal blueprints before foundations are laid. They invite spectators into sacred processes and then become discouraged by criticism from people who were never called to carry the burden. Wisdom understands timing and smartness understands silence and strategy. Silence is not secrecy born out of fear; often, it is stewardship born out of discernment. It is recognizing that sacred things require protection. Jesus Himself often healed people and instructed them to tell no one, not because he was ashamed of the miracle, but because timing matters. Purpose determines disclosure. Do not misunderstand silence as weakness. The loudest person in the room is rarely the strongest. Oceans move continents without making announcements. Roots grow in darkness before branches stretch toward the sky. Diamonds are formed under pressure in hidden places. God's deepest works in human lives frequently occur away from applause.
Guard your dreams from unnecessary exposure. I say this because I know that it is not everyone that is celebrating your potential that also has the capacity to protect it. Share your burdens with the wise, not with the crowd. Seek counsel, not validation. Learn the difference between accountability and exhibition. Do not announce every opportunity before it matures. Do not reveal every strategy before the battle is won. If God has brought down a giant in your life, rejoice. Worship. Give thanks. But understand that you do not have to post the stone.
Humbly yours,
