The Life Choices Resource Center (LCRC) hosted its 2026 Annual Charity Banquet on April 29, 2026, at the Pines Manor in Edison, New Jersey. With over 300 participants in attendance, the event celebrated the ongoing support and collaboration between the LCRC and the Piscataway Knights of Columbus and Columbiettes – Council #11017 from St. Frances Cabrini Parish. The Faithful Servant Award was presented to these organizations in recognition of their steadfast partnership and dedication to supporting expectant mothers, families, and promoting the sanctity of life through numerous impactful initiatives.
Father Jim Considine, Pastor of St. Frances Cabrini Parish, led Grace for the Banquet, recognizing the important work that Life Choices Resource Center leads for the community, as well as accepting the award on behalf of the Knights and Columbiettes.
The Award recognized several Contributions the Knights and Columbiettes have partnered with the Life Choices Organization:
Impactful Initiatives and Contributions
Walk for Life
Both the Knights of Columbus and Columbiettes have been instrumental in supporting the annual Walk for Life events. The Columbiettes have taken an active role by speaking at the event, inspiring others to participate, and raising crucial funds for the LCRC.
Baby Bottle Drive
For three consecutive years, the Knights and Columbiettes have organized the Baby Bottle Drive at St. Frances Cabrini Parish, successfully raising over $20,000 to benefit the LCRC. Their outstanding efforts were further recognized with an additional $1,800 ASAP bonus from the Knights of Columbus Supreme Council.
Volunteering
Members of both organizations volunteer regularly at the Life Choices Resource Center, offering weekly support and assistance to clients and staff.
Furniture Pick-Up and Delivery
The Knights of Columbus frequently assist with picking up and delivering furniture to families in need, helping ensure LCRC clients have the essentials for a safe and comfortable home.
Somerset Patriots Life Choices Night
Annually, the Knights and Columbiettes show their support by attending Life Choices Night at the Somerset Patriots baseball game, which helps raise awareness and funds for the Center.
Christmas Gift Delivery
During the holiday season, members deliver Christmas gifts to families served by LCRC, spreading joy and hope throughout the community.
Transporting Baby Supplies
The Knights and Columbiettes regularly transport donated baby supplies from FISH of Dunellen to LCRC, ensuring families have the items they need for their children.
Baby Shower
The Columbiettes organize baby showers, collecting essential supplies for mothers and babies served by LCRC.
A Faithful Partnership
The Knights of Columbus and Columbiettes of St. Frances Cabrini Parish truly embody the spirit of faithful service. Through their ongoing dedication, leadership, and hands-on involvement, they have made a lasting and meaningful impact on the Life Choices Resource Center and the families it supports.
