"The Spirit that came at Pentecost did not come only to comfort. It came to change. It came to send. It sent the disciples out into the world — a world that can be transformed by the love of God in Christ Jesus, who is risen.

The Spirit shows us how to show up where there is fear, so that courage wins.
The Spirit turns timidity into proclamation.
The Spirit turns division into relationship.

Come, Holy Spirit. Give us the courage and strength to go out in hope and love. Give us faith to proclaim the Good News and tell the story of Jesus — again and again."
