Surely he has borne our griefs
and carried our sorrows;
yet we esteemed him stricken,
smitten by God, and afflicted.

But he was pierced for our transgressions;
he was crushed for our iniquities;
upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace,
and with his wounds we are healed.

All we like sheep have gone astray;
we have turned—every one—to his own way;
and the LORD has laid on him
the iniquity of us all.

You are invited to join us this evening, Friday, June 24th, at 7 p.m. for a prayer meeting in the fellowship hall at Mount Calvary.

We have much to thank the Lord for, such as the decisions made at the General Assembly of our denomination and the Roe v. Wade overturning decision of our Supreme Court, but we also have much to petition Him for, including protection for those who have been in the fight for protecting the right to life of our youngest citizens. We also need to pray for our nation . . . for healing and repentence and God's mercy and grace to abound.
