New Bethel Presbyterian Church

New Bethel Presbyterian Church New Bethel is a place for all of God's people to come and feel welcome and feel the love of Christ that is all around us. The Rev.

Samuel Doak organized the Scots-Irish settlers living in the Forks of the Holston and Watauga rivers into New Bethel Presbyterian Church in 1782. Today, as it has for two centuries, we joyfully welcome all those who come to seek God's blessing, to hear and receive His Holy Word and Sacraments, and to pariticpate in the ministry of our Risen Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Monday Prayer:

Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of a new month. As I step into June, I place my life, my family, and my plans into Your hands. Lead me in the path of peace, wisdom, and strength. Protect me from harm, open new doors of opportunity, and help me to trust in You through every moment. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Monday Prayer:

As we reflect on the gift of the Spirit, this Pentecost day, we also observe Memorial Day. We remember with deep gratitude the men and women of our Armed Forces who made the ultimate sacrifice in the service of our country. Their courage, devotion, and selfless love for our freedom reflect Your call to lay down one's life for their friends.

Amen

Monday Prayer:

Lord, thank You for this new week.
Bless my plans, my work, my family, my decisions, and everything I cannot control.
Guide me where I need wisdom. Protect me where I cannot see danger. Provide for every need I cannot meet on my own.
Let Your will be done in my life, even when I do not understand the timing.

This week, I will not force what is not for me. I will pray, work, trust, and let God lead.

Amen.
