Restoring the Family Altar

Joshua 24:15 "But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord."
Over the past few months, God has been stirring a deep truth in my heart: healing begins within us. Our souls must become healed as the true sons of God. As I reflected on my own life, I realized how the behaviors, patterns, generational wounds, childhood neglect, and other embedded traumas I carried could affect my child’s growth, my husband's growth —mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. These same “ways” also impacted my relationship with how I related to others in my life. Yet, in the midst of this reflection, God gave me a clear promise: “I am healing the generational wounds and the childhood brokenness.” With that promise, through Him, restoration and wholeness were not only possible but coming forth in abundance!
I began a healing journey over the past five months, allowing the Holy Spirit to reveal what was hidden within me. At times, I cringed as I saw myself through His lens, but God, in His infinite mercy and love, poured His grace into my soul. He reminded me of His promise:
"I can do all this through him who gives me strength" (Philippians 4:13). By His power, I can and will be better than before, yes, says the Lord!
As we now entered the new year, the Father had impressed upon my heart that this will be a year of recompense and the Year of the Family altar of restoration. God is bringing healing, mending, restoration, and divine order to households. He is moving upon husbands, wives, children, prodigals, parents, and grandparents. A mighty shift in the family sphere is coming upon the body of Christ! The family unit has been a target of the enemy for too long, but when families unite in faith and walk in one accord, the enemy’s plans are completely dismantled.
The breakthrough coming to homes will be beyond anything we can currently fathom. Families who have stood in faith, contending for their promises of loved ones, will see them come to fruition. I see the prayers of the faithful ascending like incense and returning as answered blessings. As these answers manifest, the divine power of God will rest upon households. The enemy thought he had you, but JESUS DECLARES: "But now, this is what the Lord says— he who created you, Jacob, he who formed you, Israel: 'Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine.'" (Isaiah 43:1).
2025 will be a year where God restores what the enemy stole. Families will rise as a unified force, they will walking in the power of His Spirit. The Year of the Families is commencing so stand firm and watch the Lord’s salvation unfold in your home!
