Witchcraft does not always show up looking dark, evil, or obvious. The enemy is subtle. Many times, what is working against you will come disguised as something normal, reasonable, innocent, or even beneficial. It can come through desires, relationships, family, friendships, habits, and everyday circumstances.
This is why we must have We cannot judge everything according to the flesh or simply by what makes sense naturally.
We have to ask,
Is this drawing me closer to God, or is it slowly pulling me away from prayer, consecration, the house of God, and my calling?

Jesus said in Matthew 7:16,
We have to stop judging things only by how they appear and start examining the fruit they produce.
Something can look harmless and still produce spiritual consequences.
A relationship can feel right and still weaken your walk with God.
A decision can make perfect sense naturally and still move you outside the will of God.
Is it producing greater hunger for God?
Is it strengthening your prayer life?
Is it causing you to love holiness and truth more?
Is it bringing you into greater obedience and submission to the Word of God?
Or are you becoming distracted?
Prayer is becoming less important. Church attendance becomes negotiable. Your convictions begin to weaken.
Things you once guarded against no longer bother you.

This is where we need spiritual discernment because deception does not always announce itself as deception.
Sometimes it sounds reasonable.

And one compromise by itself may seem small. But little by little, something begins pulling you away from the place where God has called you to stand.
The question cannot simply be,
Sometimes the better question is,
Because everything that is permissible is not necessarily profitable.

There comes a point in our walk with God when we have to examine our relationships, habits, desires, and attachments and determine whether they are helping us fulfill the calling God has placed on our lives.
And sometimes that examination hurts.
It may involve family. It may involve friendships. It may involve people we genuinely love.
But Jesus made it clear that nothing and no one can take His place in our lives.
That does not mean we stop loving people. It means
If maintaining a relationship requires me to continually compromise my convictions, neglect my spiritual life, or silence what the Lord is dealing with me about, then something is out of order.
There are some things we have to love enough to put in God's hands.

The battlefield is often in the mind.
If the enemy can change the way you think, eventually he can change the way you live. This is why Romans 12:2 tells us to be transformed by the renewing of our minds.
We cannot allow the world to redefine what God has already established in His Word. We cannot allow feelings to become our authority. We cannot allow convenience to replace conviction.
We need the Word.
We need prayer.
We need fasting.
We need the house of God.
And we need to stay sensitive to the voice of the Lord.
Because sometimes what is trying to pull you away from God will not look evil.
That is why we cannot walk by sight.
We have to walk in the Spirit.
Look beyond what something appears to be and examine what it is producing in your life.
If it continually weakens your prayer life, dulls your convictions, separates you from the body of Christ, causes you to compromise truth, or distracts you from what God has called you to do,

Stay prayed up. Stay in the Word. Stay submitted to God. Stay sensitive to the Lord.
