Wildcat Family,

The campus has experienced a significant break in an underground pipe supporting the A/C chiller system which provides service to 80% of the campus. Therefore, classes tomorrow August 16 are cancelled.

The part needed to make this repair is not available until Monday morning which, when installed, should provide the return of cool air campus wide by mid-afternoon tomorrow.

The Awakening remains scheduled nightly August 15-17 @ 6:30pm @ Guinn Auditorium.

We apologize for the inconvenience and we hope to resolve this matter as quickly as possible.

The Awakening is off to a beautiful and Spirit-Filled start. Come join us in Guinn Auditorium this Monday and Tuesday night at 6:30 for a special time of worship with our guest and worship leaders

Louisiana College will host a free COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic at the LAC- Pineville location on Tuesday, August 10, and on Tuesday, August 24 in the Hixson Student Center.

All three vaccines will be available.

A New Adventure for the Worsham’s!

Hello everybody! We wanted to let you know that The Lord has opened a new door of service for our family.

We have been called to be the New Pastor of First Baptist Church Festus/Crystal City in Missouri.

We have had an incredible ministry at the LC BCM Louisiana College Baptist Collegiate Ministry and leaving behind an incredible campus and amazing students is not going to be an easy thing. We will be very sad saying goodbye, but we know that we are walking in the Will of The Lord.

I’m very thankful to Mark Robinson for believing in us and giving us the chance to serve as a Campus Minister. It has been a dream come true. He has been a constant source of encouragement and wisdom; and I know he will continue to be a mentor and friend.

And I’m also thankful to Dr. Rick Brewer for being the LC BCM’s biggest cheerleader! He has given us unlimited freedom to serve and thrive on campus. It’s been a pleasure serving with him.

Please continue to pray for us as we prepare to sell our home and transition from the LC BCM to FBFCC. We will still be here for the beginning of the semester.
