This is an amazing training for foster parents, adoptive parents, anyone working with children, or even raising your own children. It focuses on children from hard places with trauma. But Trauma can be anything from when a child experiences physical/mental abuse, physically moving home location, death of loved one, separation from parents (even in NICU, or parent deployments), and more. Our children are so fragile. This conference explains so much and will have an incredible amount of wonderful advice!

The temps are going to get very low over this next week. So as we are ministering to the homeless in our community through the Riverside Church on Sundays we will be collecting blankets, warm hats, coats, gloves, and hand warmers to help them survive these cold temperatures.
This is a wonderful opportunity for you to take your kids shopping or guide them as your family goes through your own supply at home and see what you can part with for the Gospel. We'd like to invite you if you've never been, to come this Sunday at 1:30 to the Riverside church and let your children see the wonderful people the who will be receiving these items.
You can drop the items off behind the FLC this Sat. 3-6 or Sunday before 1:00.

So excited for the Christmas caroling tonight at 6. Parent join us as we worship with our elderly shut-ins. We need parents to join along with children. The Wednesday night prayer group is going to join us tonight also.

We had a blast learning about Lottie Moon and making Christmas cards last night! These handmade cards will be available in the foyer for the next two Sundays for any donation amount to help raise money for the Lottie Moon Christmas offering. This offering is collected each December and is used to keep foreign missionaries on the field!

This video shows so much joy on that precious face, but the best part is that everyone that receives a box hears the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

We will have a packing party in the sanctuary at 6 pm tonight and all are invited! Also, bring any items you would like to such as school supplies, small stuffed animals, toys, whatever the Lord leads you to bring! (Please no toothpaste, edible items, or liquids of any kind!) If they can read each day's verse on that day to you or have you read it to them, then just initial beside that day. If they can get in God's Word every day, even for one verse, with your initial on each day they will get candy.
*wednesday this week is a typo. There is no Psalms 48:18 so Let them just pick a verse to read to you.
