We are thrilled to welcome our team that is joining us this week, Harrison United Methodist Church from Charlotte, North Carolina! This group of individuals is excited for the week ahead and all that God has in store. We are praying that the Lord works through their hearts and to serve His people here in Reynosa, Mexico.

Clouds shifting. Rain passing through. Light breaking anyway.

A sunrise that didn’t wait for everything to be perfect—whether we could see it or not.

Easter doesn’t wait for perfect conditions.
It shows up anyway—steady, certain, breaking through whatever stands in the way.
Always rising, even when it’s hidden.

And maybe that’s exactly what we needed to see today.

The church campus will close at noon on Saturday and will remain closed on Sunday. There will be no in-person worship services or activities on campus.

Our staff had a special opportunity today to witness the monks walking through Pineville. Watching their intentional, prayerful journey was a powerful reminder of the beauty found in a life of devotion.

It inspired us to pause and reflect on our own calling to be peacemakers. Just as these travelers dedicate their steps to harmony, we continue to join our hearts in prayer for peace—both in our local community and across the world.

A Prayer for Peace
God of Grace, we thank you for the quiet reminders of your presence among us. We pray for all who journey toward peace. Soften our hearts, guide our steps, and help us to love our neighbors with the same kindness we have received. Lead us in the way of peace today and every day. Amen.
