We really are better together. 🤝🏾

Sunday’s message, “The Benefits of Friends,” reminded us that the people connected to our lives matter. Godly friendships don’t should push us toward purpose, challenge us to grow, and help us become who God has called us to be.

And sometimes that growth requires us to examine ourselves too. Are we treating people with the love of Christ? Can we receive correction? Can we celebrate what God is doing in someone else without feeling threatened?

One reminder from Sunday we’re carrying into this week:

“The favor of God on someone else is never at your expense.”

Thank God for the people He has placed in your life to encourage you, pray for you, challenge you, and help propel you forward. 🧡💙

Yesterday’s message reminded us that faith is not only about what we believe when life is easy. Faith is revealed in how we trust God when the situation is difficult, when the answer seems delayed, and when we are still waiting to see His power. 🙏🏾

Three reminders to carry with us this week:

1️⃣ Faith despite the severity of your predicament.
2️⃣ Faith displayed in the strength of your persistence.
3️⃣ Faith that is determined to see God’s power.

Whatever you are facing this week, keep trusting. Keep praying. Keep believing. And when you feel like your faith is not enough, let this be your prayer:

“Lord, increase my faith.”

If you want to know what Homecoming felt like, just look at the faces. 🥹💙🧡

Some came back home. Some celebrated with us for the first time. Some sang, shouted, laughed, hugged, and worshipped their way through the weekend. And somehow, every face became part of the story.

Thank you to everyone who showed up, served, worshipped, invited somebody, and helped make this weekend one we’ll remember.

As our students head into a new school year, we’re sending them with more than backpacks, schedules, and supplies. We’re sending them covered in prayer. 🙏🏾💙🧡

To every student, remember this: you are fearfully and wonderfully made. You are gifted. You are capable. You are loved by God, and you do not walk into this school year alone.

To our educators and school staff, we are praying for strength, wisdom, patience, and grace as you pour into the next generation.

To our parents and families, we are praying for you too. For patience in the growing moments, peace in the uncertain ones, and grace for every day in between.

Pastor prayed that God would protect our young people, guide their steps, stir up every gift inside of them, and remind them that no one gets to tell them they are less than who God created them to be.

We’re believing for a school year filled with protection, favor, growth, joy, and purpose. 🙏🏾

China Grove is praying for every student, every educator, and every family walking into this new school year.
