Topic: Success Is Built In by Design!

Scripture: "For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them." — Ephesians 2:10

One of the biggest mistakes we make is believing that success is something we have to chase. The truth is, God designed success into you before you ever arrived here.

I want you to think about a fish. A fish doesn't attend classes on swimming. It doesn't read books about water. It doesn't struggle to become what it was created to be. The moment it enters the environment it was designed for, it thrives. But take that same fish and place it on dry land, and suddenly it appears weak, helpless, and unsuccessful. The problem isn't the fish. The problem is the environment!

Some of us have spent years calling ourselves failures when the reality is we've been trying to flourish in places God never designed for us to live!Wrong relationships.
Wrong mindsets.
Wrong priorities.
Wrong assignments.
A fish on land looks like a failure.
A fish in water looks like a success.
The fish didn't change.
The environment did.
The same is true for you.
God did not create you to barely survive. He created you with purpose, gifts, wisdom, and grace already built into your design!

Success isn't something you have to manufacture. It's something that begins to emerge when you align yourself with the purpose and presence of God.

That's why Psalm 1:3 says:
"He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season... and whatever he does shall prosper."

Notice the tree prospers because it's planted in the right place!

Maybe your prayer today shouldn't be, "Lord, make me successful."
Maybe it should be, "Lord, position me where You designed me to flourish."
Because when you're planted where God placed you, what He built into you begins to show up through you!

Let's Pray:
Father, thank You for creating me with purpose and intention. Help me stop measuring myself by the world's definition of success and begin seeing myself through Your eyes. Align my steps with Your will and plant me where You have designed me to flourish. Remind me that You have already placed gifts, grace, and purpose inside of me. Today, I choose to trust Your design. In Jesus' name, Amen.

🌅Remember… A New Day is here and success is already woven into your design. Your assignment is simply to stay connected to the One who created you and planted where He called you to be.

A Changed Mind vs. Made Up Mind!

There is a difference between a changed mind and a made up mind. A changed mind says, "I see things differently now."

A made up mind says, I'm going a different direction now!

Many people experience a changed mind when they hear the Word, feel conviction, or recognize what needs to change. But transformation happens when that changed mind becomes a made up mind.

Let’s look at the prodigal son in Scripture… Luke 15:17-18 it says…
"And when he came to himself, he said... I will arise and go to my father..."

The prodigal son had a changed mind when he realized life in the far country wasn't working. But his breakthrough came when he made up his mind and said… I will arise and go to my father. He didn't just think differently… he moved differently!

Today, don't just stop at revelation. Move into decision. A new day is waiting on your decision to MOVE DIFFERENTLY!!

Don't just agree with what God is saying. Commit to what God is calling you to do.
A changed mind understands the truth.
A made up mind walks in it.
No more wavering.
No more debating what God has already spoken.

Make up your mind that this is the season you will trust Him, obey Him, and move forward!

Let’s Pray!
Lord, thank You for renewing my mind through Your Word. Give me the courage not only to think differently, but to live differently. Help me make up my mind to follow You completely, even when it's uncomfortable. Today, I choose obedience over excuses and faith over fear. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Remember: A changed mind can inspire you, but a made up mind will carry you into your next season. ☀️🙏🏽

A New Day Moment with Pastor Shannon DeWitt

Don't let the size of today's challenge make you forget the size of your God.
Some of us wake up already carrying the weight of things that haven't even happened yet. We're worried about conversations we haven't had, problems we haven't faced, and outcomes we can't control.

Jesus said, "Take therefore no thought for the morrow..." (Matthew 6:34).

In other words, don't borrow trouble from tomorrow.

God gives grace for today.
Strength for today.
Wisdom for today.
Peace for today.

You don't have to figure out your whole future before breakfast! Just take the next faithful step.

The same God who parted seas, opened prison doors, healed the sick, and raised the dead is still working in the lives of His people. Nothing about your situation has caught Him by surprise!

So lift your head today….
Stop talking yourself out of what God has promised! Stop rehearsing what could go wrong and start remembering what God has already brought you through.
If He did it before, He can do it again!

Be strong and of a good courage... for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. — Joshua 1:9

Today, choose faith over fear.
Choose praise over panic.
Choose trust over doubt.
And watch what God does with a heart that refuses to quit!

☀️ A New Day Daily Moment with Pastor Shannon DeWitt☀️

A new day requires more than a new desire—it requires covenant, commitment and the courage to change.

Many people want a different outcome while holding on to the same habits, the same mindset, and the same patterns. But God often moves us into new seasons by calling us to new levels of obedience.

You cannot expect a new harvest while planting the same seed! If God is calling you into something greater…

He may also be calling you to:
✔ Forgive differently
✔ Pray differently
✔ Serve differently
✔ Think differently
✔ Trust differently
✔ Show up for/in Church differently

Remember, the blessing isn't always found in doing more. Sometimes it's found in doing something different.

Today, ask yourself:
What have I been asking God to change that He is waiting for me to change?

Scripture reminds us:
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind... — Romans 12:2

Transformation begins when we allow God to renew the way we think and respond. The courage to change today may be the very thing that unlocks tomorrow's blessing!

Let’s Pray🙏🏽
Lord, give me the courage to leave behind what no longer serves Your purpose for my life. Help me remain committed to Your covenant, obedient to Your voice, and willing to embrace the changes necessary for the future You have prepared for me. In Jesus' name,
Amen.
