Okay this comic is funny, but not to far from truth and I have experience to back my claim..
For two weeks after Juanita’s hip surgery the COS ladies brought us food. If they started with two small fish and some loaves, when they got the food to our house they could have fed the congregation.
Thank you all, it was delicious, but now I am dieting before Thanksgiving. Thank you again. You are all wonderful.

Sunday services will start at 10:00 AM in December and January.

Sunday morning services are going strong. Things have changed, and for some that’s difficult to accept. We have live music with the harp, but much of the music is still recorded. We are not supposed to sing out loud, but I occasionally hear humming and am thankful. I take that as a good sign, we are being safe, and still engaging in worship. It’s difficult to ignore some of the changes, e.g., no wine with communion, even fully knowing Christ is present in both, or either, element. Still i hope we all can focus on our personal worship and minimize the distraction of the changes. We rely on tradition without realizing all of our, “long standing traditions,” at some time were practiced for a first time so were unfamiliar. I suggest we take these changes in stride, remembering some are temporary.
It’s easy to see the involvement in those attending in person. I hope those of you joining us through ZOOM are receiving as much nourishment, and I’m talking spiritually, not necessarily coffee hour, as those attending.

We're open for worship!
This Sunday will be the first time we have been able to come together at the church for worship in a long time. There are 3 options for attending a worship service: 9 a.m. in person indoor, 9 a.m. at home via Zoom, or 10:30 a.m. in person outdoors. Both vaccinated and non-vaccinated people will be welcomed to both of the in person services.

All participants that plan to attend in person will be required to follow the Diocesan guidelines including wearing masks and distancing yourself and your family (pod) six feet apart from others. Seating for non-vaccinated will be in the new addition to the sanctuary. This will allows the best ventilation and most distance from the speakers. More information will be sent your way with this week's eblast and worship bulletin.

This weekend, we need to know who is planning to attend the 9 a.m. indoor service due to the limited space and social distancing requirements. If you are planning on attending please reserve your spot by clicking here to register. We need to know if you are coming to the indoor service by Friday at 8 p.m.

The 10:30 outdoor service can accommodate as many participants that choose to attend. (Please bring your folding chairs if you can.) Since we are gathering on church property, the Diocesan masking/distancing rules will be in effect, even outdoors.

The Zoom service will still begin at 8:45 a.m. with a wonderful musical prelude. Zoom numbers and bulletin will be sent to you later in the week.

You are invited to come by the church Monday through Thursday mornings from 9 a.m.to noon and take a tour of the new additions to both the hall and the church.

From Father Kerry:
here is the info coming in the bulletin today I will be seeking help to make this possible during the week ,,,,,,, and Sue's crew is Saturday next !

Looking Ahead .... Are you sitting down ? We will hopefully be able to come to the church next Sunday ! (even if we have to be outside only ) We have received a temporary Permit to occupy ! We hopefully will receive permission from the Bishop and the Diocesan task force to gather inside, since we already have permission to gather outside. The indoor gathering plan was sent by e mail yesterday. When we hear from the Bishop's office, we can begin indoor services. We will be limited to the number of people we can place keeping the 6 foot distancing guideline, and not exceeding 1/2 of the occupancy number issued by the Fire Dept. late Friday. I AM Sharing these early thoughts, none in stone yet ... so after talking with Fr. Brian, we think this is the way forward....... Gathering for abundant life @ Church of Our Saviour

1. MASKS and distancing WILL BE A REQUIREMENT STILL. (diocesan mandate)
2. THERE will be a registration process via phone or e mail to attend. (We are reviewing the options for this, stay tuned
3. We will attempt to offer an indoor service for the number allowed at 9 a.m., (Still Zooming this)
4. We will offer an outdoor service at 10:30 a.m. for those who are being a bit more safety conscious as the CDC recommends.
5. Coffee hour and any food events is restricted to outdoors and will be implemented as soon as possible.

The pews are back in the sanctuary. Kerry has asked anyone who can help straighten things up inside, while adhering to the mask requirement, please call to volunteer.
If you cannot adhere to the mask mandate you can still volunteer to help straighten up the outside. Again, call during office hours to volunteer.
