These boys are awesome! We had another successful event! We did a lock-in all night game night. The night was full of fun and laughter! The overwhelming sound of arguing, gameplay, and laughter was truly special. All the boys stayed up all night and had a great time! We started at 8pm last night and started bible study with the men at 6am this morning. Huge thank you to the leaders that stayed up with me, I know it means a lot to the boys and a lot to me! Now time for rest.

Also, huge shout out to Coltan Metcalf! He started out the night by putting together a devotional! Very well written and definitely got me thinking! Well done Coltan!

It is time!

For everyone that has been asking, we are starting to move forward in pursuing starting up an American Heritage Girls program along side our Trail Life program! AHG’s mission is: Building women of integrity through service to God, family, community and country. We are so excited to welcome this new ministry and will help anyway we can to get it going. With that being said, we can’t do this alone. We are looking for woman in our church family and community to make this happen. If you are at all interested in learning more about the program and have any questions we are hosting a meeting on January 25th 12:30am-1:30pm at RLMSV after the late service. During that meeting we will be going over what it takes to charter/start the program, what is required from leaders and committee members, and what the program as a whole is all about. Pinehurst day parade!

What an amazing weekend!

Huge thank you to the men that help make this weekend a success! So much fun, laughter, and adventure!

Our weekend started on Sunday morning leaving Pinehurst headed up to Magee Airport where we went to camp. We arrived to the Magee ranger station and where met with someone that need emergency help for someone on top of a mountain involved in a motorcycle accident. We immediately worked on getting a SOS sent out in hopes to help. Following that we carried on to get camp set up a little ways from the airport. During set up a life flight helicopter came regarding the SOS we sent out and landed in our camp. We gave him instructions on where we were told the accident had happened. During the time they had waiting for an ambulance to arrive. We throw on our backpacks (I’m preparation for a hike coming up) and hiked to the airport. We were once again greated with the Life Flight helicopter. The pilot and nurses onboard where so kind and generous and gave us a full walk around and seminar on what all the helicopters have and how they work (An ambulance in the sky).

From there the boys enjoyed the cool water and worked on their rope work badge. While seeing planes and an army helicopter flying overhead to land at the airport.

Such a beautiful place to play and to praise God for his wonderful work of art!

Super awesome day at the Fire Department! We went through training and got our CPR and AED certifications! We have some more super fun events coming up for the boys and adult leaders! Please send me a message if you want to get involved!
