What does it mean to truly start a new year right? Pastor Patrick opened 2026 with a powerful challenge: put the big rocks in first. Using Matthew 6:9-10 and 33, he reminded us that when we seek God's kingdom and his righteousness first, everything else falls into place around it.

The problem is that most of us fill our lives with gravel, sand, and water, and then wonder why nothing feels satisfying. Jesus did not just call us to make him our first priority. He called us to make him the center of everything: our marriages, finances, desires, schedules, and ambitions. As C.S. Lewis put it, aim at heaven and you get earth thrown in.
