Join us tonight at 6:00 PM for KUMC’s 9th Annual Patriotic & Americana Concert! This free community concert honors the men and women who have served our nation, remembers those who made the ultimate sacrifice, and celebrates the unity that brings us together as a community. Featuring the Kendall Orchestra (35+ musicians!), Kendall Choir, and special soloist Daisy Su, it promises to be an inspiring evening of music and remembrance. This event is always very popular, and seating fills up quickly, so please plan to arrive early. Invite your family, friends, and neighbors, and join us for this special evening. We look forward to seeing you there! Cannot join us in person? The concert will be livestreamed on our YouTube channel (Kendall United Methodist Church) and page, so you can be part of our online audience or watch and enjoy it later at your convenience.

Someone strong enough to defeat evil, solve our problems, and save the day. But what if the power we truly need is not found in a fictional hero? What if the real answer has been with us all along? Join us tomorrow at 9:00 AM or 11:00 AM, in person or online, for “The Real Masters of the Universe.” Based on 2 Corinthians 13:11–14, this message explores the source of true strength, peace, love, and transformation. Join Us for KUMC’s 9th Annual Patriotic & Americana Concert
We invite you to join us this Sunday, May 31st, at 6:00 PM, for a special evening of music, remembrance, and community at KUMC’s 9th Annual Patriotic & Americana Concert. This FREE concert is part of KUMC’s outreach to our community, honoring both our fallen heroes and the men and women currently serving our country. The evening will feature the Kendall Orchestra with more than 35 musicians, joined by Kendall’s Choir and special soloist Daisy Su. Come enjoy an inspiring night of patriotic and Americana music as we gather in gratitude, remembrance, and unity. All are welcome!

This past Sunday, we celebrated Pentecost Sunday🔥, the birthday of the Church, with a wonderful potluck luncheon filled with joy, laughter, and incredible fellowship. We are sharing lots of photos from this special day because they truly capture the warmth and connection we experienced together as a church family. Thank you to all the volunteers who helped set up and clean up, and to everyone who brought delicious salads, entrées, and desserts to share.

A few dishes definitely became the talk of the church! Many are still trying to figure out who made the amazing coconut cake. The carrot salad and the slow-roasted pork were an absolute hit. Even Pastor Ruben prayed with a plate in hand!

It was joyful, welcoming, and exactly the kind of fellowship that feels right for celebrating Pentecost Sunday, the day the Church was born and filled with the Spirit.

At KUMC, church is more than a worship service. It is a vibrant, caring, and welcoming community where people gather, grow, laugh, pray, and share life together. Join us at our upcoming events!

KUMC Mission of the Month: Vacation Bible School! Throughout May, we are supporting one of the most joyful ministries at KUMC, Vacation Bible School! This year’s VBS, Illumination Station, will take place June 8–12 and is offered completely free of charge to children in our community. During this special week, kids will learn about Jesus and discover how His light shines in our lives through worship, crafts, games, music, and fellowship. To make this meaningful week possible, we depend on the generosity of our church family to help provide snacks, craft supplies, decorations, games, and activity materials. Every donation, big or small, helps us welcome and serve as many children as possible. Please help us shine the light of Christ for our children this summer.

Welcome to the KUMC Family! This past Sunday, we were blessed to welcome David and Cindy A. as new members of Kendall United Methodist Church! We rejoice in their decision to officially become part of our church family and are grateful to walk alongside them in faith.

In the United Methodist tradition, membership is more than joining a church—it is a commitment to grow in faith, serve others, and live in Christian community together through our prayers, presence, gifts, service, and witness.

We are especially thankful for David and Cindy’s involvement already in the life of KUMC through the choir and the Alpha class. Their gifts, enthusiasm, and spirit are a blessing to our congregation. Please join us in warmly welcoming them to the KUMC family!

On this Memorial Day, we pause with gratitude and prayer as we remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation. We pray for their families, for all who carry loss in their hearts, and for God’s peace, comfort, and strength to surround them. May we honor their memory by living with compassion, justice, and love for our neighbors.
