Celebrating the Hearts That Serve Our Church!
During Pastor Appreciation Month, we want to thank everyone who has shared words of gratitude, encouragement, gifts, and love for Pastor Ruben. Thank you for helping us celebrate his faithful leadership, dedication, sense of humor, and the many ways he guides our congregation in growing closer to Christ. We are blessed to have you as our pastor!
WE ALSO WANT TO SHINE A SPECIAL LIGHT ON STEVE, OUR YOUTH DIRECTOR, WHO HAS SPENT 12 YEARS LEADING, NURTURING, AND GROWING OUR YOUTH GROUP. Steve also served as a Youth Group Assistant for many years before taking on the leadership role.
Being a youth director is about so much more than organizing activities. It is about showing up, listening, mentoring, building relationships, creating a place where young people feel they belong, and helping them discover how to live out the teachings of Jesus in their everyday lives.
Through fellowship, fun activities, meaningful connections, and years of service, Steve has touched the lives of so many young people and families. He has been a wonderful example of living the Word of Jesus, and his leadership of our Pumpkin Patch for many years has helped bring our church and community together, one pumpkin at a time!
Steve, thank you for the countless hours, the love you have poured into our youth, and the faith you have helped nurture over the years. You are loved and appreciated by so many!
We are keeping you in our prayers and wishing you a speedy recovery, with renewed strength and healing. May God surround you with the same love and encouragement you have shared with others.
