What started as an opportunity to launch Recovery Church in Elgeyo Marakwet, Kenya has now grown into something even bigger!

We are incredibly excited to announce that we now have the opportunity to plant TWO Recovery Church campuses in Kenya! 🙌

Two communities. Two campuses. One mission: helping people find freedom, experience the hope of Jesus, and discover that recovery is possible!

We are blown away by how God continues to open doors. What we thought would be one launch has become TWO opportunities to see lives changed, families restored, and communities impacted through Recovery Church.

Please continue praying as we prepare to launch these two campuses and equip local leaders to carry this ministry forward.

What a great night celebrating the power of our testimonies... from brokenness to healing, from bo***ge to freedom, and from hopelessness to wholeness in Jesus Christ!

Thank you Emily High for leading worship, Rich Miller for sharing his powerful story, and to everyone who worshiped and fellowshipped with us.

Our stories may be different, but they all point to the same truth: God is still restoring lives, breaking chains, and turning our pain into purpose.

We are not ashamed of where God brought us from, we are living proof of where His grace can take us!

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony. Revelation 12:11

Tonight at Recovery Church Pine Grove we continued through Step 7: “Humbly asked Him to remove our shortcomings.”

The message was simple:

Stop fighting.

Take off the mask.

Turn around.

Let grace meet you there.

We talked about how pride tells us, “I’ve got this,” while humility finally admits, “God, I need Your help.” We don’t have to hide our struggles, manage an image, or clean ourselves up before coming to God.

“He gives grace to the humble.” Proverbs 3:34

And what a blessing to hear people share, see worship lifted up, testimonies given, prayer offered, and people simply doing recovery and life together.

The picture of the prodigal son brought it home tonight... the son was walking home, but the Father was running toward him.

That’s grace.

Another beautiful Friday night with our Recovery Church family. ❤️

Tonight at Recovery Church Pine Grove 🙌

Sometimes the breakthrough doesn’t come from fighting harder. Sometimes it comes when we finally admit:

“God, I need Your help.”

Tonight we’re continuing Step 7: “Humbly asked Him to remove our shortcomings.”

We’ll talk about pride, surrender, taking off the mask, and the incredible truth that God gives grace to the humble.

If you’re tired of fighting, hiding, managing, or pretending you’re okay, come tonight.

You don’t have to have it all together.

You don’t have to clean yourself up first.

Come as you are. Leave changed.

What a night at Recovery Church Pine Grove! 🙌

Tonight we had the privilege of welcoming Melanie Waldman Ministries for Stories & Songs: My Journey from Darkness to Hope.

Through her story, Scripture, and original music, Melanie shared openly about what God has done in her life and reminded us that no story is too broken for Jesus to redeem.

One line from one of Melanie’s songs especially captures what tonight was about:

“Your breakdown can be a breakthrough!”

There was something powerful about a room full of people from different stories and different places lifting up the same God, the One who brings hope out of darkness, healing out of brokenness, and restoration out of what we thought was lost.

Melanie and Scott, thank you for spending the evening with our Recovery Church family. Thank you for your authenticity, your heart for people, and your willingness to use your story to point others to Jesus. We were truly blessed by you both.

And thank you to everyone who came out tonight.

This is what Recovery Church is about: real people encountering a real God who is still changing lives.

Many will see what he has done and be amazed. They will put their trust in the LORD. Psalm 40:3
