Rev. Dr. Marjorie Hamilton Scott was re-obligated as an Itinerant Elder in the African Methodist Episcopal Church at the 2007 North Texas Annual Conference under Bishop Gregory GM Ingram. She is the proud Pastor of Historic Visitors Chapel AME Church, Hot Springs, Arkansas, Chair of Biblical Studies and Adjunct Professor at Jackson Theological Seminary, of Little Rock, Arkansas, and she is an author of a devotional book, “Promises of Glory.” For 15 years she has served the AME Church as Senior Pastor at four different charges in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas. She has also served as Associate Pastor at Hartford Memorial Baptist Church in Detroit, Michigan, Second Baptist Church in Evanston, Illinois, and St. Luke United Methodist Church in Dallas, Texas. Her previous career includes corporate sales in health education and industrial industries, graduate admissions in higher education and hospice chaplaincy.

Faith and family are the most important to Dr. Marjorie. She is fully committed to the teaching and preaching of an un-compromised gospel to the social consciousness of a people encouraging them to act, grow, believe, and love. She is the proud mother of two daughters, Sidney Nicole, and Shelby Lynn.

Dr. Marjorie received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications from Loyola University of Chicago, Illinois, a Master of Divinity Degree from Garrett Evangelical Theology Seminary in Evanston, Illinois, and a Doctor of Ministry Degree in Spiritual Direction and Formation from Houston Graduate School of Theology.

Born in St Louis, Missouri, and raised in Springfield, Illinois, Dr. Marjorie is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

Reverend Gregory E. Guinn, Sr. began his ministry in 1978, Ordained a Deacon in 1980 and Ordained an Elder in 1982 under the Presiding Bishop, Bishop F.C. James. He has pastored at several Churches in the West Arkansas Annual Conference and the Arkansas Annual Conference in Arkansas. He retired from the pastoral ministry in 2015 from Ward Chapel A.M.E Church, Prescott, Arkansas.
He has also served as past president of the 12th Episcopal District Ministerial Alliance, Treasurer of the Arkansas Annual Conference. Superintendent of Church School of the West Arkansas Annual Conference, Past Trustee board member of Jackson Theological Seminary North Little Rock, Arkansas.
Rev. Guinn, is a native of Hot Springs, Arkansas, a 1979 graduate of Hot Springs High School, he attended National Park Community College, Hot Springs, Ar., Shorter College and Jackson Theological Seminary North Little Rock, Ar.
He retired in 2025 from CHI St. Vincent Hospital, Hot Springs, Ar. As a Certified Surgical Technologist.
Rev. Guinn, is the father of two children, Shavis Marie Guinn and Gregory Eugene Guinn, Jr. and the grandfather of four and great grandfather of three.
