Scripture of the day:
Isaiah 26:3Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
4Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:
These two scriptures are full of hope and encouragement.
Isaiah said, "Thou wilt keep him". Thou is speaking about the Lord. The Lord will keep him. The Lord will protect, provide and support those who trust Him.
Keep him or her in what? In perfect peace. If you look up the Hebrew meaning for in, perfect and peace they all mean peace. God will bless him or her with peace, peace and peace. There is a song that says, "Peace, peace wonderful peace that comes down from the Father above." God wants us to be at peace with Him, ourselves and with others.
How do you and I experience this peace? We experience this peace by keeping our minds on the peace giver and maker which is the Lord. We keep our thoughts and feelings on the things on God so the cares of this world don't burden you and me down.
How do we do that? By trusting and believing that the Lord is keeping everything in our lives in perfect order which brings peace, peace and peace.
This trust is not just for here and now but it's to last forever. Jesus came to give us everlasting life so we can have eternal peace with Him and His Father. Jesus Christ is the Prince of Peace. Who brought peace between God and the human heart by dying on the cross to fulfill salvation's plan.
If you want peace go to the Prince of Peace who will make it right between you and His Father. All you have to do is believe in Him as your Savior by confessing your sins to Him and accepting what He has done for you.
Peace, peace wonderful peace that comes down from the Father above can be yours today just by asking for forgiveness from your sin and believing in Jesus resurrection.
Romans 10:9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
