We had a great time Wednesday night getting in the word and talking about Joseph & his "Robe of Many Colors" & learned quite a bit about favoritism, having a positive attitude even in bad situations, & forgiveness!!
We also figured out when trying to wrap someone up in crepe paper the "running in circles" method gets a bit dizzy after the tenth or eleventh circle..lol!

We were quite "egg-cited" about our time outside tonight. Everybody did great and only one or two of them "cracked" under pressure.
Did you know that God promises us that no matter how hard things may get sometimes, or how much pressure we may feel at times, if we put all of our hope in Him that he will give us strength. What a wonderful promise!
Isaiah 40:28-31
28 Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
The Lord is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.

We had a great time today at our end of Summer cookout! We ate some delicious hamburgers & hotdogs, cooled down outside with our color war/water gun capture the flag, then enjoyed some nice refreshing watermelon, ice-cream & atomic sour pops!! From the looks of it Pastor Jeff needs to learn how to be a smaller target..lol!!

This Sunday is PSM's last Summertime Fellowship and just like the last one we are ready to have a good time! Hot dogs, burgers, & icecream followed by a capture the flag battle with a colored waterwar we are aiming for a blast! Bring some clothes you don't mind getting dirty!
Parents are encouraged to come join us for lunch and we can talk about the upcoming school year ahead.

One thing we love about Pikeville Church Student Ministry is getting to watch our students make this place their own. After updating our student ministry space a couple of years ago, we're adding on to make room for what's next. There are plenty of opportunities to jump in—from wall prep to painting, assembling furniture and some finishing touches—and we'd love for our church family, especially our PSM parents, to be a part of it. If you are interested in contributing or want to learn more, please see Pastor Jeff or Ms. Bobbie Sullivan.

Our PSM & Middle School Students had a great time this afternoon playing slip-n-slide waffle ball. After several of these kids hit homeruns off of Pastor Jeff we are thinking we may need to get the church softball team geared back up and we probably need a better pitcher next time..lol!
They finished up the afternoon with ice-cream with all the toppings, six flavors of Kool-Aid spears, and some delicious watermelon! 🍉
We are looking forward to our next get together on July 19th at 12:00 immediately following church. We will have a fun game of capture the flag using all different colors of food coloring in our water guns. We will have hamburgers & hotdogs, chips, & drinks for lunch. We love for each of you to bring a friend to church that day as well.
