What a wonderful Homecoming Sunday at West End! ❤️

Today’s message came from Ruth 1:21:

“I went out full, and the Lord hath brought me home again empty…”

What a thought for Homecoming—Ruth left full, but she came home empty. Sometimes life has a way of taking us places we never expected, and we can find ourselves coming back a little more broken, a little more weary, and a lot more empty than when we left.

Empty wasn’t the end of Ruth’s story. She came home to the place where God was already preparing restoration, provision, and a future she couldn’t yet see.

And that’s what I love about HOME. ❤️
You can come home tired.
You can come home hurting.
You can come home empty.
Just come home. God can fill what life has emptied.

We had such a great crowd today, and our church family truly came together to make Homecoming special. The fellowship was sweet, the meal was absolutely delicious, and I’m pretty sure we had enough food to feed an army! 😂

So thankful for everyone who cooked, served, helped, showed up, worshiped, and made today what it was.

God has been good to West End. He has brought us a mighty long way—and we believe He’s not finished yet.

There really is no place like HOME. 🏡❤️

I just love to see God save people, but there is something so special about watching Him save families. One gets saved, then another… and before you know it, God is changing a whole household.

This is what we’ve been praying for.

Lord, save our families. Save our children. Save our loved ones. Bring them in and let them know You for themselves.

We don’t ever want to get used to what God is doing at West End. Every soul matters. Every trip to the altar matters. Every prayer matters.

3 more names written down in Glory today. ❤️

Keep praying, church. Keep bringing them. Keep believing for them. God is moving and He is answering prayers.

“As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” Joshua 24:15

Thank you, Jesus. Keep doing what only You can do. 🙌

Tonight we will be learning different ways to serve like Jesus. He served, He helped, He encouraged, and He gave… We can do that too! Not to be recognized or praised for it, but because we want to be more like Him!

We may never know all that God did in the service Sunday, but one thing we do know—HE WAS THERE.

And where He is, there is restoration. There is hope. There is healing. There is peace. There is help. There is everything we need, because it is all found in His name and in His presence.

God has been so faithful to meet us service after service. He is restoring what has been broken, bringing hope to weary hearts, healing wounds seen and unseen, speaking peace over troubled minds, and reminding His people that our help still comes from the Lord.

And now, as a new week is upon us, let’s not simply walk through it—let’s walk in it with Him.

Take His presence with you into your home.
Take it to your workplace.
Take it to school.
Take it into every conversation, every decision, every burden, and every unknown.

The same God who met us in the sanctuary will meet us every morning. His presence isn’t confined to a church service, and His hand isn’t limited to an altar.

“For He hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.” — Hebrews 13:5

Church, walk differently this week because you know WHO walks with you. Keep praying. Keep believing. Keep expecting. Keep carrying His presence.

There is restoring in His name.
There is hope in His name.
There is healing in His name.
There is peace in His name.
There is help in His name.

And His name is JESUS. ❤️
