We are really excited to show our new Mascot, "Angel of Heavenly Hugs". She has been with us for just about 12 weeks now and is getting so spoiled. A week after we got Angel she rolled of the couch and broke her leg. She ended up with a Splint on her leg and was so pitiful looking. Fortunately, it healed well and she is up and running all around the house and yard now.

Walt is entering one of his quilts to the Bledsoe County Fair in Pikeville this year. The fair runs from August 1st to the 9th. Stop by and see Walt's "Quilt of Valor" that he made for our Brother-in-law, Richard Jedlund. The quilt was presented to Rick by the Unity Quilt of Valor group in Soddy Daisy. Hi, I need a little help this morning. I made this quilt last year and would like to make another one using the same pattern. My problem is I can't remember the name of the pattern. Its a simple pattern using a 5 or 6 inch rectangle with snowballs on the ends to form a rounded or curved windmill. Does anyone recognize this pattern and know where it can be purchased?

Heavenly Hugs Quilts just finished 13 Quilts for a customer to sell in the 127 Yard sale. Here are the pictures of the quilts. Brenda H did the designing and piecing. Heavenly Hugs Quilts added the borders, backing, batting and quilted them for her. Look for them along 127 near Dunlap.

Some of you asked that I post the pictures from the Quilts of Valor presentation on November 8th. Here are several pictures of the quilts with their Veterans. I just became a member of this group so I don't have much information on who received their quilts this time but at least you can see how beautiful they are.

I was very thankful to be a part of this group and to be able to participate in the presentation.

Been busy again. I'm working on 3 memory quilts made from clothing worn years ago and old photos. They've been promised for Thanksgiving and then I have 2 more similar ones that have been promised for Christmas. I'll post pictures after they are delivered so I don't spoil any surprises.

Been busy quilting this week. Made 1 baby quilt for Isabella's 3rd birthday and quilted 2 customer quilts.

One of the customer's quilts was made of USMC Tee-Shirts for a former Marine. The other quilt was completed for a customer whose mother pieced this together in 2017. It was her last quilt and I was really happy to complete it for her.
